Hello everyone, Crown gaming's Hearthstone team has decided to create a series of budget decks and guides for you. The goal is to give an opportunity to players with limited cards,so they could play all classes. All decks will be consisting from cards valued under or around 2000 Dust, without cards from Karazhan. Today we are covering Hunter, you can check Druid and Paladin on our profile ! Most of the decks we are going to create are able to reach rank 5!
Hunter is an aggressive class and this is a version of hunter we can call Face Hunter. So our goal is to get the board early on and push face damage as fast as we can.
Turn 1-2
We are always looking for Alleycat and Dire Mole. It is very important to have turn 1 because we have very nice powerplays on turn 2 with Crackling Razormaw, Dire Wolf Alpha or even with Scavenging Hyena. Aswell we can play Tracking on turn 1 and find a card we want to play next turn that will make an advatange for us, but you should never keep tracking in your starting hand!
Turn 3-4
Our deck has a ton of turn 3 cards. We have Eaglehorn Bow to take nice trades and keep board pressure, or Animal Companion or Bearshark for a nice develop. Aswell turn 4 Houndmaster on a beast is a strong play, we can either push face damage or take a value trade.
Turn 5-6
If we have already pushed our opponent enough its time to finish him off. Otherwise we have a nice tempo play with Tundra Rhino or Savannah Highmane to keep the board pressure and to force our opponent to have an answer for our strong and sticky minions.
Spellbreaker is useful to get past a taunt or to silence something like Possessed Lackey.
Unleash the Hounds is good to push face damage or to trade if our opponent has alot of minions. Also you can combine it with Kill Command for a significant burst.
Use your resources very well and calculate when to trade and when to go face, that is very important, trust us.
If you have Bittertide Hydra you can add it instead of Savannah Highmane.
You can also use Leeroy Jenkins in this deck.
If you have any questions about the deck,or we missed something, ask us in the comments and we will gladly explain :)
You can check our socials and our players streams.

what card should we use instead of alleycat, cause the card is wild now
Are there any upgrades you would recommend to this deck? Thank you!
I registered just to say thanks, and that this deck is pretty awesome, I was quite frustrated for the lack of cards when starting out. Your deck gave me a run to rank 21, then I adjusted my deck a little bit and still winning games. Winrate is about ~60% from rank 24 -> 18. Absolutely crushing it against Paladin/Priest/Mage at these ranks and pretty much any big spells deck.
I don't have Eaglehorn Bow so Candleshot/Arcane Shot helped me control early drops, Hunter's Marks to deal with big drops, Explosive Trap for some clearing. Flanking Strike/ Spellstone to keep the pressure up and Nesting Roc as safety net in case I need to get 1-2 Hero Power shots in.
Should i use leeroy instead of Savannah or Tundra Rhino ? Cheers.
Why dont u use Timber Wolf instead of Dire Wolf Alpha ?
What about use Deathstalker Rexxar in this deck ?
You know the decks good because it has face followed by hunter in the title.
Hunter seems to be consistently one of the best classes to ladder with on a budget, with lots of good low rarity cards from classic/basic and generally getting several good new commons each rotation. I feel this deck can struggle on turn 2, though, since 2 out of 3 of your 2-drops are basically Frostwolf Grunt if you happened to miss your 1-drop. What do you think of dropping the trackings for a pair of Jeweled Macaws or Fiery Bats?
Hi. If I have Kathrena Winterwisp card, should I put it in this deck? If so which card should I replace? much tanks owo
Can i use leeroy instead one savannah?
reminds me of toast f2p hunter
