This is Theude's deck he played in the Hyper X invitational. The Deck is a control Druid deck that puts forth minions that have a great or a greater value then your opponent's minions. The deck uses the tried and true Ramp mechanic to accelerate the druid tempo and board state to provide you with some great options and domination. THIS IS NOT A CHEAP DECK IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. At 10960 dust your gonna be grinding a bit to build this deck, however many of the cards in the deck are multi-functional in other decks.(Bloodmage Thalnos, Sylvanas Windrunner, The Black Knight, Ragnaros the Firelord,Big Game Hunter)
Strategy:
The overall strategy of the deck is to counter your opponents minions with higher value minions. Many of the options in this deck will be on par or higher then other classes minion in terms of value. Using Wildgrowth can easily speed up this process and help you establish and maintain board control.
Innervate is used in this deck, not so much to jump the curve and get out a large minion, though it can, but to smooth your mana curve. Example. Turn 3 Innervate to a Sludge Belcher is a huge play, then turn 4 you play a Sen'jin Shieldmasta. This can provide one hell of a speed bump against most aggro decks and will cause many other decks to lose a great amount of tempo.
This deck runs 9 great value taunts to force your opponent to spend their removals and trade unfavorably to. Eventually this massive taunt wall will overwhelm and crush your opponent. To insure this, the deck also runs a Kel'Thuzad and Cenarius. And lets not forget about the Ragnaros the Firelord. Once your opponent is out of options you can easily use this bad boy to seal the deal and crush all hope.

"The Deck is a control Druid deck that puts forth minions that have a great or a greater value then your opponent's minions" -> No Cairne?
Cairne was a tough call...before and after the show the topic of cairne came up alot. Originally the deck had Cairne. Instead he went with a second sun walker as these guys will generally pull the same hard removals that a cairne will, and if the deck your facing doesnt have one can easily give you some protection unlike cairne.
Are the any substitution suggestion write-ups available for this deck? While the deck is quite expensive, I've been running a similar theme lately to varied success.
I can ask him next time I get him on skype if he can give me a sub list, however I dont know when that will be he is busy these days and has a girlfriend who wants equal time....
Thanks Chiv, i really enjoyed the video. I have replaced the Ancient of Wars with Ironbark Protectors however I particularly feel like I fail without Sylvannas and TBK (which are both next on my craft list - very close with dust mind you).
I also feel i struggle at the beginning of a match at least 50% of the time. If you can get the ramp right it's fantastic but not getting the right cards in the mulligan & first draw means I usually end up with a guaranteed loss.
nice deck. my favorite deck archetype. i much prefer cairne than sylvanas.
