Introduction: Hello, my name is Ben (ingame: b3ntastic), I'm an amateur wild player and I'm playing Hearthstone now for over 3 years. I rarely create competitive decks (tbh. because most of them are trash), but I do enjoy me some "just for fun" decks. ;)
Idea: My inital thought was to play a bit around with Gnomeferatu this season, but after I saw the potential in destroying combos I thought it could fit into a "Ladder Deck".
This deck is what I find works perfectly well against "Burn / Secret Mage", "Dudes Paladin" and other types of control decks for example "Jade Druid".
Feel free to ask me questions concerning the deck in the comments :)
Card choices / Card replacements:
Skull of the Man'ari is my own personal favorite when it comes to the choice Skull of the Man'ari or Voidcaller. Both have the same effect, but I like to have the effect permanent. Also with Voidcaller you get a "trash" drop from Bloodreaver Gul'dan for the late game. In case you face decks where you want to get Azari, the Devourer out as quick as possible just don't play Skull of the Man'ari in that game...it isn't that complicated ;)
Skulking Geist is right now good, because I personally face alot of Jade Druids and Aggro Paladins
Spiritsinger Umbra can be used for a neat combo with Possessed Lackey and for some other shenanigans :) ... but you can replace the card with Stonehill Defender
Zola the Gorgon is included in the deck to copy your Mal'Ganis or another Voidlord for better drops from Bloodreaver Gul'dan, but you can replace the card with a second Twisting Nether
Mulligan Guide at +30
Changes: -1 Twisting Nether -1 Stonehill Defender +1 Zola the Gorgon +1 Spiritsinger Umbra
Copying other people's deck on Hearthpwn and replacing 1-2 cards is NOT A NEW DECK. It is the same deck with tweaks. Weapon in wild is also absolutely useless, it counters one of your win conditions Azari and you do not run the main reason for weapon - Doomguards. Voidcaller is a must run in any warlock for Doomguards and Voidlords, it gives you instant tempo, as well as your lackey is a dead drop if you draw your only 3 demons.
This is lacking key building concept for power and deck type, anybody will just kick your arse with actual wild decks.
Good for you that you have your own opinion on the deck. But I play only wild and have great succes with it....
Could you be so kind and tell me what deck i copied?
@digix So just to recap...you took out 1 x each Twisting Nether and Skulking Geist and replaced them with Zola the Gorgon and Spiritsinger Umbra?

Updated the deck, works good in the ranks 5 to 1 now :)
How is this any different from the standard control lock really? Other than the negative synergy with Skull and Rin. I was expecting something that would abuse Gnomeferatu with bouncing to hand or copying with Zola etc but this deck just plays 2 Gnoneferatus straight up which pretty much all control warlock decks in standard do anyway.
Yes but this isn't standard and it works well in wild...so I don't see your problem. It is not my task to make your wishes come true. If you want something that abuses Gnomeferatu go ahead and make it yourself.
for me deathlord would make more sense than stonehill as it has deathrattle that will bring your oppent closer to fatgue seeen as you are already buring his cards from gnomerferatu skul makes realy no sense here aswel ,,i plus 1 anyway
Haha thank you for the +1 ^^ . To answer your comment: I honestly have not thought about Deathlord in this deck. I will try it out and I'll give Stonehill Defender a break. But could you explain why you think that Skull of the Man'ari makes no sense. I know that it is normally run so you don't get the negative effects of Doomguard for example, but I play Skull of the Man'ari so I don't have to pay the 9 mana for either Mal'Ganis or Voidcaller and so that I can spend my mana on spells clearing the board.
I some what agreed with Skull of the Man'ari being a wasted turn in a sense, but it's a better option over Voidcaller. That's why I added Zola the Gorgon to cheat out a replicated demon.
Can you tell me what you replaced with Zola the Gorgon, I'm always interested in some changes that make the deck in some way stronger :)
Skulking Geist just because i dont have 1
Hahaha ok, although he is worth crafting, he is an insta-win against OTK Priest and Jade Druid :)
You forgot to include Voidcaller
As already mentioned in an other comment Skull of the Man'ari has the same effect and it does it better in my opinion. But nevertheless feel free to swap cards and test it out ;)
Voidcaller is the 2nd best card in the entire class. There is not a single good reason to not run it. Skull of Man'ari is just an inferior alternative.
Feel free to replace Skull of the Man'ari with Voidcaller, as said it is only my opinion that Skull is better ^^
You can say that and I respect your opinion but it is universally agreed by everyone that Skull is garbage comparatively.
