Hey Guys,
today i bring to you my miracle rogue i went to Top 5 legend with.
General Information:
The Miracle Rogue is one of the oldest archetypes in the history of Hearthstone. The main thing about is to use your cheap spells to cycle through your deck fastly with Gadgetzan Auctioneer or to build a very big Edwin VanCleef. With the new expansion, Miracle Rogue got a very strong addition to the deck with Fal'dorei Strider, which is in my opinion one of the most important cards of the deck and that is also the reason why i play double Elven Minstrel and also just one Vilespine Slayer and no Fire Fly, because i want to have the Fal'dorei Strider as often on turn 4 as possible. Thats why playing the Elven Minstrel with the coin on 3 is in most cases pretty good! But we come to that later in the mulligan and when we take a closer look at the deck!
Mulligan:
I think it's pretty hard to write a good mulligan guide for this deck, because it mostly depends on what you also have as a choice. For example, vs. aggro you hold SI:7 Agent with coin always, but without coin also if you also have Backstab in hand. Same goes for Fan of Knives if you have Preparation etc. This gets even more complicated if you count in the Counterfeit Coin.
I still try to give you some general information about it!
vs AGGRO:
General:
Preparation, Backstab, Shadowblade, Eviscerate
with Coin:
vs CTRL:
General:
with Coin:
Elven Minstrel, Edwin VanCleef
Key cards and important combos:
Gadgetzan Auctioneer: Literally the key card in this deck, with Backstab, Counterfeit Coin and Backstab, there are so many ways to start cycling in turn 6 already.
Fal'dorei Strider: This card is important for the mid-game board presence. With the 4/4 spiders you push some damage and fight for the board.
Elven Minstrel: As the before mentioned cards are the most important in my opinion, the Elven Minstrel is pretty important to get the stuff together as soon as possible. Coining it out on Turn 3 feels pretty good vs most matchups!
Shadowstep: This card is pretty flexible in this deck, you can use it for card]SI:7 Agent[/card] vs. aggro, to get more 4/4 Spiders with another Fal'dorei Strider after a value trade. Anyways, most of the time, you generate more burst with Leeroy Jenkins.
Sap: Your key card vs. Warlock (you actually often kill the Possessed Lackey and kill the Voidlord afterwards, because if he kills his Lackey and plays Dark Pact on his Voidlord, it's bad for you. Versus Priest, don't overestimate the effect of the Drakonid Operative, its good to get rid of his stats, so you can use Sap for that.
Shadowblade: A card you won't find in many lists- i like it because its pretty good versus secret mage and murloc paladin, but also helps vs tempo priests or gives some more burst damage vs. ctrl decks.

Don't play this if you meet too much aggro. Also you should know that this deck needs a lot of training and gameknowledge. Anyways, for me it is the most fun deck ever and i love to see it working out well again!

I'm currently trying this approach, which is very different from this deck. I could climb from 17 to 11 with this one, I'll continue with it and see where it will take me...
It´s hard to play it in lower ranks because you match many aggro decks and combo priest that are faster than you so I think that it´s not a good choice. It start to be good when you face many Warlock decks.
Hi , i am new to hearthstone so i don't have these cards yet but i wanted to craft it. Can anyone add me ,i wanna watch this deck gameplay and decide. thank you!
my tag is riya#11536
Had fun with this dicking around to rank 5. Im not gonna push for legend this season cos ef warlock... Hate them.
- Shadowblade - Bloodmage Thalnos They improve your chance vs Mages but against Paladin it's autoloss without the Fireflies.
+ 2x Fire Fly
Quick question:
Sometimes I am forced to play the Striders in late game (bad draw etc.) which causes all the spiders to be pulled out at the end of my stack of cards. when this happens I feel like I am losing control of the board and my side is completely filled with minions. One simple Flamestrike and all the potential is gone.
Any advise on how to maintain board control?
I had version off this kinda deck, but it included alot different approach on whole subject. while sycling trough was pretty much same, i had valeera with 2x deadly poisons, kingsbane, leeching poison to have consistent 6-8 dmg lifesteal weapon and to change cards i necessarily didnt need top of the sugar i had lilian voss. This looks lot better against fast decks, but i never lose slow matchups with mine, greedy lifestyle

This deck ramping unbelievable, so far 9-0 at rank 3
Who the f is Uldarus?
What an entrance!
I've been trying to play Miracle Rogue in wild and it's just not working. Can this deck be stronger in WIld? I'm thinking to craft this deck with the dust I have gathered... I began to have a liking to Rogue recently after I playfully assembled a Mill Rogue (with Gang up and Bronzebeard) in wild... I want to learn how to play Miracle and Oil :D
You can make it stronger vs control by adding in Malygos / Sinister Strike package instead of Leeroy / Cold Blood package. Control is just a lot of time spent passing, and a bunch of taunts. Bypass the taunts with spells.
Getting rekt by warlocks and mages. Especially mages.
I think you kill the lacky and sap the void lord or if its Doomguard I think you kill it so they cant cube and kill it with dark pact. I would say get Fal’dorei Strider out ASAP or make a big van cleef and go face fast. If you get them to 15 and they don’t heal you can kill with a combo of Leeroy cold blood cold blood and dagger = 15. Or something like that with prep sap to sap a taunt or preps with evis face. For priest and lock I think you would SMOrc with your minions while doing the previous. One thing that’s hard is being sneaky getting them to 15 so that they feel safe and don’t heal. Ive read tips like if you want to dagger face do it first and minions last for some reason. But with a deck with step and leeroy and 2 cold bloods and 2 evis and prep sap in the deck if I elven minstrel and thin the deck with draw with the miracle engine I find it easy to carve out a lethal even at higher health pools than 15. Maybe you are playing to much for value and not for tempo as I believe tempo is what will win you games in these matchups and going face is important you can sap things like Drakonid Operative vs priest it really doesn’t matter if they get a card if you can keep a minion and the pressure high. If its big priest sap the taunts and go face I believe. I could be wrong with all of this, but it could help. Edit I did not see you said mages but I will leave this part up for anyone who has a problem vs priest. For Tempo mage I am not sure what to do. I either win if I draw good and if I don’t I loose. Making a big cleef that wont die to fireball can help but sometimes its not enough.
As a main Mage player, I laugh in Medivh laughter whenever I get matched with a Rogue. I play Control Mage, Mech Mage, Secret Tempo Mage... BUT... against a really good Rogue player, I can get rekted real hard too. What I do notice in most matches I lost against Rogues is that Rogue players usually comes from behind in terms of board presence and even health total. Once the Gadgetzan Auctioneer gets into play (+Conceal in WILD) and the Preparation + Eviserate or + Fan of knives.. The Counterfeit Coin.. I usually get killed 1-3 turns after the Miracle madness... **sigh**
So, as a main mage player, I guess the key is to try to not die early game if you're playing Rogue. Mulligan for Backstab + Bloodmage Thalnos.. maybe? to remove any threats from Sorcerer's Apprentice or even Mana Wyrm early in the game. Having the coin, you can remove minions on turn 2 with SI:7 Agent and probably, do what mages do to control the board. **ehem** **cough** use spells to clear the board and go face with Fal'dorei Strider to wrap up the game.
If you're up against a control mage... Well... Just pray you don't have to go through 3 - 4 Ice Blocks :D
Somehow I posted twice, sorry.
About deck - I didnt say its a bad deck, Im winning vs almost any1, except mages, and, sometimes, warlocks. Mages just rekting me with secrets, I can't even survive to turn 5 or 6, probably bad luck with draw. Warlocks is not so hard, Im always trying NOT to kill their cube targets (void lords, doomguards) until the last moment. Sadly, my HP going below 0 before that moment come.
Getting rekt by warlocks and mages. Especially mages.
I would not recommend this as you will make your match ups vs Aggro worse. Miracles worst match-ups are the aggro match-ups if you are looking for tech options or cards to help in the aggro match-ups I would recommend using Arcane Anomaly; it is a cheap minion that’s health is buffed by spells this synergizes more with the deck and helps in your worst match-ups.
You can add another shadow blade instead of rummaging kobold by that you won’t get wicked dagger or lose 2.5 mana
Wow.. The shadowblade and shadowstep really do fit well here. Early game becomes way easier, no need to waste backstabs etc on those filthy 1 mana 1/3s! Also, I find it really good to shadowstep vile spine slayer in many match ups
Bloodmage is a really good tool to have in the deck, it's just useful for many reasons. I'd say it's most useful for its spellpower to combo with fan, shiv, backstab, evis for a big removal turn. So I'd say Zealot is a good play.
I think early board presence is one thing that this deck lacks a little bit so if you want Acidic swamp ooze might also be a good filler, also razorpetal lasher is not bad.
