Any good replacement for Fuegen/Stallag ?
Those 2 cards are an additional wincondition next to N'Zoth and synergize well with Play Dead, so it's difficult to replace them easily: I would recommend atleast 1x Spellbreaker, because he's really strong in current meta (against Warlocks, Combo & Big Priests etc.)
If you want to keep the Deathrattle Theme, then try out Exploding Bloatbat (very strong against Aggro Paladins, but a litte bit weak against other decks), Savannah Highmane, Cairne Bloodhoof, Dr. Boom or Dane's/Sneed's Old Shredder (Sneed's is a strong card and very funny in combination with Play Dead & Feign Death, but in this case 8 mana is a bit to expensive).
Good 4-5 Mana Legendarys: Elise Starseeker, Elise the Trailblazer (Both Elise's are a bit slow, but additional winconditions so exactly wat we're looking for), Loatheb & Harrison Jones
Other solid 4-5 mana non legendary cards: Flanking Strike, Big Game Hunter, Antique Healbot, Azure Drake or Stampeding Kodo
Conclusion: I would replace those 2 with Spellbreaker and Savannah Highmane or Elise the Trailblazer (cause if you combine Elise with Stitched Tracker, you can generate 2 Un'Goro packs with Elise, what means VALUE VALUE²)
I hope I could help you a bit.
Needed some Hunter wins so I grabbed this deck and tried it out. My mistake, because this is probably one of the worst decks I've ever played with in my life. Basically no removal, no board clears, no card draw to improve consistency,is and comeback mechanics. The idea of the deck seems to be "draw a great curve, hope your opponent doesn't, then maybe win."There's a thousand decks that do this much better. Honestly I'm more disappointed with myself for not spending a few seconds looking over the deck and realizing just how bad this was.
The author is frantically downvoting every negative review, but I'd be anxious to hear if anyone's had luck with this in climbing or if it's just something to play when you're rank protected at 5/10/15/legend?
I've played Reno Hunter off and on since Reno came out. Personally, I think this is trying too hard with the deathrattle synergy. I've found decent success with going more of a tempo approach, putting pressure on the (control) opponent in a typical hunter way, flooding the board with value minions. Often, N'Zoth and Reno aren't even needed, but if the opponents manages to thwart you, you have those two cards and Deathstalker to provide late-game pressure, and by then they hopefully have used up their removal. If you are going against Aggro, it's generally a matter of whether you drew Reno or not.
I've faced this deck twice as control (Reno) warlock in the past few days and basically, it's a joke to handle. If you want to play a N'Zoth Reno deck, play warlock. Better removal, better deathrattles.
Oh, and how is Savannah Highmane not in the deck list?!?
i know its from Dane Hearth, but can you at least credit him for this deck?
Credit him? He uploaded it?
I don't know why you're getting downvoted. I had the same experience. Went something like 2-20 and just kind of went, "Well, this deck isn't good."
I'll take the downvotes. Good on you for standing on the side of reason.
Baron Rivendare is much better imo. Used the deck to reach rank 10.
I replaced Tracking, the Elek and Quick Shot (1 in 10 games i didn't have cards on hand because of the Howlfiend prob from Hidden Cache). I added the 9 cost version of Animal Companion, 1 + secret (redirection) and the 3/3 minion that procs a Deathrattle effect.
Happy to see some quality Daneage over the usual Stancifka snorefest.
These are the type of fun to play decks that I love seeing pop up on hearthpwn.
Indeed! :) Unexpected board clears :)
How important would you say the card is to the deck? It is the only card I am missing from this decklist as well as one of the few Frozen Throne cards I've disenchanted already. Is it worth crafting for the Unstable Ghoul synergy alone?
Dane said in his video that he's only running the poison ghoul combo as a test so you could always ditch them and try something else in those slots.
Sneeds excluded from the deck Feelsbadman
That's a pretty interesting deck ! I don't know how Dane always come up with this kind of decks, but they are awesome !
Welcome to the world of rhetorical jokes, my friend
