Hello everyone, Crown gaming's Hearthstone team has decided to create a series of budget decks and guides for you. The goal is to give an opportunity to players with limited cards,so they could play all classes. All decks will be consisting from cards valued under or around 2000 Dust, without cards from Karazhan. This is the first class we are going to cover. Most of the decks we are going to create are able to reach rank 5!
This is an aggressive deck and your goal is to finish the game at around mana 6-7, if not even earlier. With your strong 1-drops and buffs your board can explode and do some damage.
Turn 1-2
You should always try to find your 1-drops in your opening hand. Enchanted Raven and Dire Mole are really good if you can follow them up with Mark of Y'Shaarj. You should always keep Mark of the Lotus to get a big board with small drops. Take every value trade you can.
Turn 3-4
At this point we should have the board in our hands versus control, and maybe still fight for it versus aggro. Now we need to preserve it and start pushing damage for lethal. Your taunts like Crypt Lord and Shellshifter can protect your minions. Vicious Fledgling can be a deadly tool and your opponent has to react to it,so playing it behind a taunt or onto an empty board might be deadly. Sometimes at this point you already have lethal with Savage Roar so keep that in mind.
You should also consider playing around board clears versus control,e.g. Duskbreaker, Hellfire, Defile.
Somtimes its good to put your Shellshifter into stealth but you need to be cautious.
Turn 5-6
Now we either have the board and are looking for lethal or we just lost it and need to take it back. If we have the board but dont have lethal Cobalt Scalebane will be a big threat and buff something so we have another big threat. If the board has been cleared then Living Mana is the best option to refill it,or more small minion combined with a buff.
Spellbreaker is useful to get past a taunt or to silence something like Possessed Lackey.
If you have any questions about the deck,or we missed something, ask us in the comments and we will gladly explain :)

Don't expect to win much with a budget deck(read sub 30% winrate) The version with snowflippers, bitter-tides, and 2 spellbreakers is 100% better.
Deck gets fucking smashed by all current meta ones
So what do I replace with those cards?
Going out of my way to comment on this one cause this is great budget deck and guide! Love cheap aggro decks, and this has been a good replacement for midrange hunter. Two days in and I've climbed from 19 to 14. Any recommendations for upgrades? Or replacements for Mark of Y'Shaarj when Old Gods rotates out?
Very nice deck for people who don't have many cards but still want to be competitive +1. Made a video if anyone is interested, thanks.
Nice deck, Though I did swap out 1 Vicious Fledgling for a second Living Mana.
Great deck for Begginers, got from rank 21 to 12 so far, just made a replacemente -- Crypt Lord for Malfurion the Pestilent. Thanks for the help.
This deck feels slow compared to other aggro decks because of the lack of card draw. I'm having a lot of trouble maintaining board presence or being aggressive with most other decks. I keep drawing duds with very few options in my hands, while my opponent builds a stronger board. I can see how this would work under the right circumstances, but most other decks will have an advantage with some aoe and better card draw. Thanks for sharing. It didn't work for me. :(
Got to rank 10 using other archetypes and searched for something else to complete my druid quest but with all those boardclears (Duskbreaker, Volcano, etc) I feel like playing Aggro is not the way to win in this meta (after the Patches Nerf Patch). :(
Atleast I can complete my "Play Druid Cards"-Quest with losing after a few turns cause I ran out of cards
If you think aggro can’t win you need to craft a paladin deck asap. Most efficient archetype in the game rn is aggronpaladin
Hi, very nice write up! I tried a list like this (but with 2 living mana, can't live without it!). It can win games, but I found wolf and fledgling to be too slow and awkward. How do you feel about those cards?
I posted a druid aggro deck where I cut those and added mark of the wild and Keeper of the grove, mainly. They have both been very good for me (I think keeper is better than spellbreaker in a deck like this). I also added some pirates, but they can easily be cut for the argent squires and a tar creeper or two. On that note, I think tar creeper is much better than fledgling in this deck and on the same budget level. It is much better against other agressive decks, and generating power is not a problem for this deck, it is the toughness that is valuable in a creature to stay on the board. Fledgling is horrible against Hellfire and Duskbreaker, which are the most important cards to play around in the early game, and it is bad against other aggressive decks (really, it is only good against bad decks). I also think 5 drops that are not living mana are too slow, and that living mana really is a must have in this deck, budget or not.
A budget option I would consider is Sould of the forest (but not two, since the second one is never needed in a game). When it is good, it is really good. But sometimes it is dead, of course.
is there a non-budget version of this deck?
You should make a Budget mage deck :) i love playing mage
I'd recommend replacing 1 Shellshifter with 1 UI. However, I am not an expert by any stretch of the word. Try cutting different things and see what you find feels good.
I just have one question, why bother playing this deck? Look, the deck doesnt have to be strong to be worth playing, because it can also just be fun to play. I also get that aggro druid is a good deck to make an aggro deck from, but so is zoolock, and zoolock is much stronger at the moment. Now most of the zoolists run, guldan, but that can be cut although it is pretty strong, even pro players have argued that guldan can be cut. Lich king is also in most recent lists, but can also be cut. then malchezaars imp, also strong, and I wouldnt ever cut it, but for a budget deck it can be replaced.
Is there any room for Fandral Staghelm in this deck?
I not only had a great time playing this deck, but I have found out that it can definitely help newer players get situated in the game. I have no doubt this can climb to rank 5 and for it being one of the cheapest decks out there, this is quite impressive
I made a video showcasing the deck in action which I hope you guys enjoy!
Hey Streets, either take out the two Ravens again or change the "without cards from Karazhan" in your description ;)€: disregard, 19 month since Karazhan came out made me forget obv ^^
I do not have the dust to make the following:
2 - Druid of the Swarm, 2 - Shellshifter, 1 - Living Mana, and 1 - Vicious Fledgling...
What would the recommended replacements be?
(currently using Stonehill Defenders, Tortolian Forager, Celestial Dreamer, and Elder Longneck to fill deck.
Any thoughts would be welcomed.
Thanks,
Just curious... being new to this forum...
I believed I asked a simple question, yet for some reason it was down voted???
Maybe if there was a problem with this question, a simple, reasoned response explaining my error would be more appropriate... Maybe???
Where would Leeroy Jenkins go in this deck?
