This deck is pretty straight forward. It's a tempo mage that transitions into a combo/burn mage with the evolved kobold finisher. It's capable of beating most decks in the game (given the 30 damage finishing combo). However, it can be hard to pilot.
Flamewakers and arcane missiles are anti-aggro techs which also serve as additional burn against control.
Mulligans are always for mad scientist, arcanologist, or 1 drops (more so mana worm). Always play aluneth before thaurissan so the end of turn effects go in the right order.
Aluneth is a very good keep against control if you already have a 2 drop or 1 drop since your 2 drops provide ice block most of the time while the 1 drops provide additional pressure and early game consistency.
Currently about 12-3 with this deck on ladder. May need a bit of refinement still. I feel like there should still be more draw (even with aluneth lol)

I found that if you don't draw Aluneth, you can run out of steam quite easily. To be more consistent, I think the list needs more card draw.

- 1 Babbling Book
- 1 Sorcerer's Apprentice
Yeah, I've been finding a lot that you need more steam. I tried to switch to novice engineers but didn't have much luck. I like the idea of cutting Apprentice. Might try that. I had tried cutting both books, too.
