Lately, many have asked me for a post-nerf zoolock list. Seeing how many people are pleading for it, I've decided to make another zoolock guide. This time around I wanted to share Muzzy's awesome list with you guys, which many people have started to adapt, given how successful it has been lately.
What makes this deck special and different from pre-nerf zoolock lists is the inclusion of the demon package instead of the traditional Keleseth, Pirates and Councilman build. This deck is nuts versus druids because of how big you can go on your minions, which is further aided by Fungalmancer - a new addition to all Zoolock lists thanks to our buddy Muzzy.
If you guys are interested in the deck, I'll soon write a deck guide. Please leave an upvote as it helps out a lot. In the meantime, feel free to ask any questions about the deck in the comments section!

As usual, our good friend Kiwiinbacon and Kadakk have made a video on the deck, spotlighting its power and place within the current meta. They make some great plays and explain every play they make, so make sure to watch the videos. +20 upvotes= Mulligans and Card replacements.
Card Replacements:
Bloodreaver Gul'dan: Lich King > Spellbreaker > Hungry Crab
Malchezaar's Imp: Hungry Crab, versus murlocadin/ Spellbreaker, versus control and cube warlocks.
Mulligans:
VS. Control:
NEVER KEEP: 5 DROPS, Saronite Chaingang and Bloodreaver Gul'dan in opening hand.
With the Coin: 2x 1 drops + Vulgar Homunculus, 1 mana/2 mana demon with potion and/or demonfire, Darkshire Councilman. Never keep Blood Imp unless with another 1 mana or 2 mana demon.
Going first: 1 drops, 1 mana demon + demonfire, Vulgar Homunculus + Bloodfury Potion. Generally, you're trying to look for a hand that curves and synergises well.
Exceptions: You can consider tossing Librarian away against Mages, Rogues and Paladins; only keep Blood Imp with other 1 drops AND if it curves out well.
+40 upvotes= Matchups and tech choices
Favourable vs: All rogues, druids, hunters, shamans, warriors and mirrors.
Unfavorable vs: Mage, Paladin, Priest and control warlocks.
Bloodreaver Gul'dan: Instant win 90% of the time once you get to play it. Insanely good vs control.
Mortal Coil: Really versatile card. Can be used to cycle vs aggro.
Fungalmancer: Post-nerf bonemare.
Saronite Chaingang: Compliments fungalmancer and is really good against aggro.
+60= Plays
Against control, try to not discard Gul'dan and play around their board clears.
Against aggro, try to make as many value trades as possible and don't bother with not discarding Gul'dan, in most cases.
You generally want to spread your buffs as evenly as possible, so that you don't lose to hard removal or a silence effect.
with the Rotation coming up in April I would not recommend buying Karazhan anymore, which means you either go by the guide and replace it as stated above "Malchezaar's Imp: Hungry Crab, versus murlocadin/ Spellbreaker, versus control and cube warlocks." or go with fire fly which is a solid card and it has decent synergy with the deck.
IMO I would buy the first wing just to have it. That way if you want to get the other wings later you don't have to spend money for the whole thing. I didn't buy the first wing of Naxx when it rotated out and decided almost a year later to get it.
It's not a core card. the draw synergies are really nice though with soulfire and doomguard. But I suggest you replace it with a tech card to your liking. eater of secrets or something.
I would like to know one person that climbed to legend with this deck without a single Spellbreaker, thats a joke.
I have tested zoo warlocks a lot and have to say that it is pretty easy to win vs Mage and Paladin, the same vs Priest. I think it is a mistake to say that deck plays bad vs these classes. Since this deck can easily take early board advantage and keep it, and also buff your demons - it is easy to win vs these classes. As for control, it’s not that easy to win cause of that deck doesn’t have Spellbreakers. That is why I personally play the version with Keleseth and them.
This is true Priest kicks this shitty decks ass every match.
Any way to fit Keleseth there in the deck or no need?
The core of the deck revolves around the demon package, which would be rendered useless if u were to replace it with keleseth. Keleseth is now way worst without the creepers and patches.
Always discard Gul'dan, I think we can replace him by extra minion. Good deck btw.
Such a strong deck and great alternative to the current Zoo style! Really enjoyed playing this one. Appreciate the write-up and suggestion on card replacements, sticking a spellbreaker in there somewhere is an interesting thought! Thanks for the list!
Its Muzzy not Muzza mate
How do you manage to not discard Bloodreaver Gul'dan? It feels like I always discard this card no matter how many cards I have in hand.
Replace 1x mortal coil with the Lich King for control decks.
bad deck against control paladin and big priest which are infesting ladder now
Wow, which Rank is that, I haven't seen a single control paladin the whole weekend :O
control pala? what rank are you talking about?
from ranks 9 to 3 my matchups were 40% secret/burn mage, 19% murloc pala, 17% priest (most of them spiteful priest), 8% zoo lock, 6% controllock and the occasional rogue or hunter deck. but not a single control pala and just one big priest. actually i didnt even realize control pala was viable in nowadays meta as i am not much of a pala player myself
ranks 11 - 9
