Lately, many have asked me for a post-nerf zoolock list. Seeing how many people are pleading for it, I've decided to make another zoolock guide. This time around I wanted to share Muzzy's awesome list with you guys, which many people have started to adapt, given how successful it has been lately.
What makes this deck special and different from pre-nerf zoolock lists is the inclusion of the demon package instead of the traditional Keleseth, Pirates and Councilman build. This deck is nuts versus druids because of how big you can go on your minions, which is further aided by Fungalmancer - a new addition to all Zoolock lists thanks to our buddy Muzzy.
If you guys are interested in the deck, I'll soon write a deck guide. Please leave an upvote as it helps out a lot. In the meantime, feel free to ask any questions about the deck in the comments section!

As usual, our good friend Kiwiinbacon and Kadakk have made a video on the deck, spotlighting its power and place within the current meta. They make some great plays and explain every play they make, so make sure to watch the videos. If you're looking for more awesome deck spotlights and hearthstone related videos, subscribe to Kiwiinbacon's and Kadakk's youtube channels.

+20 upvotes= Mulligans and Card replacements.
Card Replacements:
Bloodreaver Gul'dan: Lich King > Spellbreaker > Hungry Crab
Malchezaar's Imp: Hungry Crab, versus murlocadin/ Spellbreaker, versus control and cube warlocks.
Mulligans:
VS. Control:
NEVER KEEP: 5 DROPS, Saronite Chaingang and Bloodreaver Gul'dan in opening hand.
With the Coin: 2x 1 drops + Vulgar Homunculus, 1 mana/2 mana demon with potion and/or demonfire, Darkshire Councilman. Never keep Blood Imp unless with another 1 mana or 2 mana demon.
Going first: 1 drops, 1 mana demon + demonfire, Vulgar Homunculus + Bloodfury Potion. Generally, you're trying to look for a hand that curves and synergises well.
Exceptions: You can consider tossing Librarian away against Mages, Rogues and Paladins; only keep Blood Imp with other 1 drops AND if it curves out well.
+40 upvotes= Matchups and tech choices
Favourable vs: All rogues, druids, hunters, shamans, warriors and mirrors.
Unfavorable vs: Mage, Paladin, Priest and control warlocks.
Bloodreaver Gul'dan: Instant win 90% of the time once you get to play it. Insanely good vs control.
Mortal Coil: Really versatile card. Can be used to cycle vs aggro.
Fungalmancer: Post-nerf bonemare.
Saronite Chaingang: Compliments fungalmancer and is really good against aggro.
+60= Plays
Against control, try to not discard Gul'dan and play around their board clears.
Against aggro, try to make as many value trades as possible and don't bother with not discarding Gul'dan, in most cases.
You generally want to spread your buffs as evenly as possible, so that you don't lose to hard removal or a silence effect.
can this deck still be used nowadays?
Would Illidan Stormrage any good inthis deck wit his 2/1 minion summons?
No, it's too slow. This deck looks for burst potential, like doomguard and pre-nerf bonemare, in cards that cost more than 5, or cards that have a huge impact the turn they're played.
If you guys are looking for a more recent deck that does better in the adapted meta of the new season, check out the new deck that I've posted: https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1046134-rank-1-legend-seikos-demonlock
Crafting Cost: 3040 vs Crafting Cost: 12420 also this one is a zoolock, the one you posted is Ctrl, those are two different decks.
Great deck! I've been using it for the last couple days to great effect. Due to dust constraints I had to make a couple substitutions. I replaced the 2 Saronite Chain Gang with a Spellbreaker and a Hooked Reaver, and then replaced the 2 Bloodfury Potion with 2 Dire Wolf Alpha. Blasted from rank 19 to rank 13 in no time, currently sitting at a 75% win rate.
I just don't understand how some of you are getting easy wins with this deck. Half of the time I need to rely on DK to win the game, that is if soulfire didn't discard it with 6 cards in hand. Imo the older versions of zoo were better
Without the Prince I believe Saronite Chain Gang gets less appealing. It has decent synergy with Fungalmancer but the whole deck is built to work fine with it already, me thinks running Spellbreaker is better for current meta. Great deck overall.
Went from rank 10 to 6, not very fast though. Still a good deck for laddering (can do lots of damage in early game).
Btw, gul'dan ain't a core card in this deck. I only use him 1 out of 5 games, because usually you play against aggro decks, and late game scenarios don't happen too often.

Edit: Just got rank 5 :D
Ass tier deck, no silence and you kill yourself faster than the enemy with all those demons
Like I rubbed my ass on my keyboard and managed to put together a better deck than this
How the hell can you play this deck without 2 Spellbreakers? We're playing Cubestone.
Moved from 15 to 5 rank with this deck.
Hi guys. I played on this deck (do not look at Rank 20) and I think that this is an excellent deck suitable for both beginners and experienced players. it is very cheap and this is its huge advantage. I will see a lot of interesting decks! good luck in climbing ranks!
How is this "favorable" vs hunter?
I see spell hunter in most of my games. They just delete my minions while I kill myself because half this deck is self damage, then finish me off with some basic damage.
Good deck for climb. In some case if u feel it, u can replace Fungal with Lich king, slower but good anyway
any replacement for malcheezar's imp?
Have this problem too.
There's really no good replacement, but i took 2 Amethyst Spellstones for some boardcontroll.
Since a lot of cards damage ur hero i think its good enough.
Would there be a way to fit Prince Keleseth into this deck? What would you replace the 2-cost cards for?
I don't that keleseth could be good in this list. The demons synergies are way more important
I have played 30 games with this deck didn't get to use Guldan at all. not even once. Won or lost games before I drew or it got discarded all the fkn time...
