The meta hasn't settled down yet, but it's pretty safe to say that the Reno Combo Priest that many of you knew of is probably dead. But fortunately for me, the Reno Priest that myself knew of, the Inspire Reno Priest that I made legend from Un'goro meta, seems to be revitalized, ironically, thanks to Raza being weaker.
This deck is completely different from Reno Combo Priest in the sense that Anduin is not the win condition, but is only the value engine for our Lyra/Saraad/Paletress. The N'zoth package that was pushed out of the meta is also utilized here and it's incredibly strong against current aggro builds (which are slower). It still has game against Warlock/Big Priest with silence effects PLUS maximizing value out of your Entomb/Mind Control/Shadow Visions/Sylvanas (or Sylvanas + SW:Death). The only concern is with Exodia Mage or any combo deck that doesn't rely on 1 cost cards, because this deck can no longer outrace them. Your only hope is to Rat or proactively killing your Deathlord and hope for the best.
Why no Psychic Scream, one might ask. The answer it that this deck wants to outvalue your opponent and Psychic Scream just adds card to their deck. Raza Anduin just provides chip damage or for Lyra/Saraad/Confessor turn now instead of going for an OTK.
This is usually how the deck performs vs Warlock. No Scream needed:
The deck still has a lot of room for improvement: Confessor might have to go (sadly), and you can include tech cards and heals depend on your meta. Tech choices to consider: Zola the Gorgon, Toshley.
Went 23-5 to rank 5, winrate 82%. Is it as strong as the pre-nerf version? Probably (and thankfully) not. But can it gain a foothold in the new meta? I am very certain that you will see it at least somewhere. There will only be a person who plays it, and that person would be me.
