Hi guys! So I recently created this Steal Priest deck just for fun, and I ended up finding a TON of success with it. After a bit of tweaking, I found myself climbing to rank 5 early in the season with a winrate over 60%. Its a blast to play and works like a charm.
Asmodai took this deck from rank 200 to 17 legend as well!
Edit: Hit rank 6 legend!!!

Edit- I just hit legend with it on 2/10/18 and I climbed from bottom of rank 2 to legend with a 10-2 record!
Edit: Rank 6!
Matchups
Cubelock/Control Lock- Control Lock is one of the easiest matchups if not the easiest. My winrate against it is well over 80%. Once you steal both of their Voidlord, you basically win the game. They can't resummon anything with their Bloodreaver Gul'dan and N'zoth the corrupter. Here are the main ways to steal a Voidlord:
-Twilight Acolyte/Pint-Size Potion + Cabal Shadow Priest
-Twilight Acolyte/Pint-Size Potion + Potion of Madness + Shadow word pain (or some card that kills the minion on your side. I have even used a stolen Carnivorous Cube or Dark Pact to do so :D)
Cubelock is harder to beat due to Mountain Giant and Doomguard. For this matchup, you need to be smart and steal the right minions depending on the current situation. Use your resources wisely.
Aggro Decks- This deck seems to beat aggro decks most of the time, thanks to Duskbreaker and the Pint-Size Potion + Shadow Word: Horror combo. Potion of Madness can also be very handy. Don't be afraid to steal 2 attack or less minions or play Twilight Acolyte for board. You just need to play defensively to win.
Tempo Mage- Tempo mage seems to be one of the harder matchups, but you are still slightly favored. If they play Aluneth early it is incredibly hard to win. Be careful of burn and try to minimize the face damage you take early game as much as you can. Their chip damage just gets you closer to burn range. Once you gain board and stabilize it becomes easy to win as long as your health is not too low.
Combo Dragon Priest- I actually usually win this matchup. Use your resources wisely and try to remove any high health minions they have. Stealing a high health Twilight Drake has always been huge for me. From that point, I have board and I can am usually able to continue removing his minions while developing my own. Its easy to win this way because their deck is so reliant on having minions on board.
Spiteful Priest- This matchup is really easy thanks to the fact that their only spells are Mind Control and Free From Amber. the pint-size horror combo and stealing their dragons seem to work really well against them. As with Combo Dragon Priest, once you gain board it is very easy to win. It is incredibly hard for them to clear your board and you can just develop minions while removing theirs.
KiwiiNBacon made a really cool showcase video, check it out here!
Hope you enjoy the deck! Mulligan Guide in progress
I only played a few games with this but it seems to be quite consistent against a lot of different decks.
7-0 right now, it's a tiny sample size but let's see how it performs in a few more games.
What is with these shit tier no major board clear priest decks that have been going around lately?
The entire deck is based around ways to remove their minions or steal them.
Did you know that when you steal your opponent's minion, you don't need board clear?
I really like the changes you made alot, the Anduin and Mind Control make the deck much stronger I think.
Well done.
I like the deck, using your judgement since I dont have anduin so I put in a glimmeroot,
This deck is amazing, honestly im doing well with it, 6-1 so far im rank 7
Question: does your win rate increase a lot with Anduin? deciding if I should craft him or not
Not really, another glimmer has been rly effective as well.
Dude im 10-2 up to now rank 5 with 5 stars! if I didn't have work id keep this going!
What are your thoughts on adding 1 carniv-cube in place of songstealer for the destroy effect once you steal the minion?
sounds good, although I have played around 15 games with this deck and against cube-warlock having a silence is almost necessary when they play in turn 4/5 the possessed lackey and you do not have the tools to steal it, this slows down a lot he Also against other confrontations it is good to have a silence to stop threats that you do not want to steal or you can not steal.
dude you have potion of madness, cabal shadow priest, you have a few answers in this deck, otherwise you can steal their voidlords
I put silence in for things I dont want to steal but are good enough to remove, but I like that idea alot too :D
Win-more if you pull it off. Other times, Carnivorous Cube is a dead card in your hand.

Pukich?
Deck rly fun to play, nice work !
Quest rogue is a bad matchup for this deck
Alex is never going to be a bad craft. If you ever find yourself in the situation of, "X and Y are both top tier cards. X is Classic set. Y is not. Which one should I craft?" The answer is always safely X.
I would say Alex, I was running another glimmer instead of shadowreaper for a long time.
I'm currently trying out Harrison Jones over Kabal Songstealer, what's your thoughts about it?
