Hi guys! So I recently created this Steal Priest deck just for fun, and I ended up finding a TON of success with it. After a bit of tweaking, I found myself climbing to rank 5 early in the season with a winrate over 60%. Its a blast to play and works like a charm.
Asmodai took this deck from rank 200 to 17 legend as well!
Edit: Hit rank 6 legend!!!

Edit- I just hit legend with it on 2/10/18 and I climbed from bottom of rank 2 to legend with a 10-2 record!
Edit: Rank 6!
Matchups
Cubelock/Control Lock- Control Lock is one of the easiest matchups if not the easiest. My winrate against it is well over 80%. Once you steal both of their Voidlord, you basically win the game. They can't resummon anything with their Bloodreaver Gul'dan and N'zoth the corrupter. Here are the main ways to steal a Voidlord:
-Twilight Acolyte/Pint-Size Potion + Cabal Shadow Priest
-Twilight Acolyte/Pint-Size Potion + Potion of Madness + Shadow word pain (or some card that kills the minion on your side. I have even used a stolen Carnivorous Cube or Dark Pact to do so :D)
Cubelock is harder to beat due to Mountain Giant and Doomguard. For this matchup, you need to be smart and steal the right minions depending on the current situation. Use your resources wisely.
Aggro Decks- This deck seems to beat aggro decks most of the time, thanks to Duskbreaker and the Pint-Size Potion + Shadow Word: Horror combo. Potion of Madness can also be very handy. Don't be afraid to steal 2 attack or less minions or play Twilight Acolyte for board. You just need to play defensively to win.
Tempo Mage- Tempo mage seems to be one of the harder matchups, but you are still slightly favored. If they play Aluneth early it is incredibly hard to win. Be careful of burn and try to minimize the face damage you take early game as much as you can. Their chip damage just gets you closer to burn range. Once you gain board and stabilize it becomes easy to win as long as your health is not too low.
Combo Dragon Priest- I actually usually win this matchup. Use your resources wisely and try to remove any high health minions they have. Stealing a high health Twilight Drake has always been huge for me. From that point, I have board and I can am usually able to continue removing his minions while developing my own. Its easy to win this way because their deck is so reliant on having minions on board.
Spiteful Priest- This matchup is really easy thanks to the fact that their only spells are Mind Control and Free From Amber. the pint-size horror combo and stealing their dragons seem to work really well against them. As with Combo Dragon Priest, once you gain board it is very easy to win. It is incredibly hard for them to clear your board and you can just develop minions while removing theirs.
KiwiiNBacon made a really cool showcase video, check it out here!
Hope you enjoy the deck! Mulligan Guide in progress
Dude, Where's My Card... ?!
Really nice deck. Pretty good vs aggro and vs control decks, and vs tempo mage it depends when mage play Aluneth :)
Archbishop Benedictus?
What about that crap card ?
Can you please upload mulligan guide?
What do you think about swapping out some cards for the Combo Package? Would it create another win condition or just get in the way?
I lack glimmerroots, shadow visions and acolyte, and can only craft 4 of them for the moment. Which would you reccomend?
Good deck man. I don't have 1x Cabal Shadowpriest and don't want to craft it, so I replace it with 1 Inner Fire. Won 2 of 2 games for me vs JD and CP. Thx
In my opinion 1x Inner Fire increases burst potential of this deck quite high.
7-1 currently
Alexstrasza Than to replace?
Maybe Ysera
This deck is so much fun! Rank 4 at the moment with it. I swapped 1 pain and 1 glimmerroot for 1 death and put in elise for the longer games. Thanks man!

This deck is such a troll.
Sorry, I meant a for its opponents.
I'm intruiged as to what community peers think the weakness of this deck are? I've had some awwwfully tight matches and whilst I know I can of course play better, I'm interested in learning what others are struggling against.
I had a hard time with a string of Big Hunters today.
It seems strong against most of the popular meta decks in my experience.
There are some less popular decks which are very difficult such as kingsbane rogue and jade druid which are extremely difficult to beat however they are not very common so it's not a great concern in the current meta.
Secret mage can be tough but it's not an unwinnable match up by any means.
Some decks can swing the match in their favour by teching in geist however as jade druid is not very popular there are not so many of these around anymore either.
Weapon Rogue is one of my toughest matchups! Theres no big minions to steal and the weapon just gets massive! I run steal priest with a skulking geist. You gotta mulligan it hard for rogue matchups to discard their deadly poisons and doomerang. Geist is also good for cubelock matchups to destroy their dark pact and mortal coils making cube combos useless.
I've stood little chance against kingsbane rogue and absolutely get wrecked by the random quest mage. I've had very little trouble with secret mage in which case I mulligan for priest of the feast and most importantly duskbreaker because it kills almost every minion in their deck. Even if they get their weapon I just play defensively and they just fatigue themselves.
Exact same deck ? any card swap?
Awesome deck!
I managed to achieve 15-2 winrate with this, but right now I'm at 21-8.
Once I got past rank 8 started to face better opponents that played around this deck.
