Hello folks,
since March 2016 I am playing Hearthstone and since November 2016 mainly Miracle Rogue which brought me my first time legend rank in Dezember 2016 when the meta was dominated by Aggro/Midrange shaman, Renolock and Pirate Warrior.
I used this deck up to Rank 5 in January and I am pretty sure it will be even stronger after the nerfs. I swapped Swashburglers and Patches for Hallucinations and another Vilespine Slayer.
Depending on the pace of the coming meta the Fire Fly might be a good replacement.
I tested Vanish in 40+ games and this way the deck works very well.
A second Sap might replace the second Vilespine because it is so strong against Cubelock.
My stats from Rank 10 to 5 were 27W and 19L with positive records against all classes besides Warrior, Hunter and Rogue itself.
The amazing amounts of reload made this deck very strong against Warlock and Midrange Priests like Dragon and Spiteful.
If people are interested I might feel inspired to write a Mulligan guide.
As this is kind of a theorycraft for the after-nerf meta I will just write down a general mulligan strategy:
Your favourite start is always to combo your Elven Minstrel on turn 3 or 4 and follow it up with a Fal'dorei Strider .
As this deck does not play too many minions the chance is pretty high to get a Fal'dorei Strider with the Minstrel, if you don't have it in your starting hand.
So when you go first keep combo possibilities for the Minstrel and the Minstrel itself.
This means you can even keep Preparation when you have the Minstrel as there will pretty much always be some kind of spell to play with.
Never keep: Arcane Giant, Gadgetzan Auctioneer, Vanish, Valeera the Hollow, Sap
Seldomly keep: Eviscerate, Bloodmage Thalnos
Sometimes you can keep Eviscerate when you are against an aggressive deck and have no other way to kill something like Knife Juggler on turn 2.
Thalnos is okay to keep with Prep + Fan or Shiv against very aggressive decks.
Instead of hard mulligan for Minstrel you can keep Edwin VanCleef with someway to buff it for at least 1 time with Coin, Backstab, Preperation plus a spell.
When I started playing this deck I very often made the mistake to not be greedy enough. Later I started keeping Fal'dorei Strider and Elven Minstrel in my starting hands and it worked out pretty well.
Also against aggro decks you need to get on board somehow. Clearing the early threats without follow-up might feel good but does not win games for you! Keep that in mind.
I won several games against aggro Paladin with being greedy on the spiders and take some early damage but come back hard with a huge board on turn 6. I even won a couple of games against Hunter drawing the better part of my whole deck on turn seven and tossing out double giants.
The most important matchup will be Warlock, I guess. I will write more about that this week when I find the time.
Thank you all for your interest :)
Edits: 1.0 As I wanted to play it a bit already before the nerfs coming in, I went for Fire Flies and only one Hallucination for the three pirates. The early month is full of aggro, so there is no way around a solid 1 mana minion.
2.0 As I barely faced Spiteful and Dragon priests neither many warlocks I took Vanish out and added a Razorpetal lasher. Remember this is a after nerf list: Replace the Fire Flies and the Lasher or one Shiv for the three Pirates for best conditions pre-nerf. I went 18-2 (90%) today from Rank 17 to Rank 12, after I burned some stars with Mill Warrior, haha. The two Rogue losses on the bottom are Mill Rogue games

ill try
If you read the text, you will find the answer on the bottom "Edit 2"
Was because what I found on ladder.
Consider Vanish a tech card. If you face many midrange decks that outtempo you between turn 5 and 8, then take Vanish back in.
It is also great against the Cubelocks.
Tried. Nope. :(
Gadgetzan is gonna out soon, lol
No he doesn't. Maybe you think he was in MSoG because of his name, but he is a Classic Card.
I think he means going to the Hall of Fame. A lot have been saying this since last rotation.
No, I am not sure :)
I mean there are many viable cards that need to be tested:
Fire Flies, SI or even Farseer (if the meta is aggressive)
Maye just replacing Patches with one Hallucination is the way to go
A second sap and the Hallucinations are probably very good if Warlock will be dominating as much as people think atm.
The Darkness might become a thing if more people for for Mill.
If the meta slows more Xaril and Mimic Pot are also viable
The double Shiv is in there because I faced aggro Paladin a lot and wanted more ping damage for divine shield.
In the other matchups it is still nice to pull Spiders before Auctioneer turns.
I guess we gonna need to see and test in the coming meta to judge on this :)
I have been running the same deck, except with the Kingsbane package, I may try this one out instead. I really like the Giants in my current deck and can usually put them down on turn 6 or 7.

The deck can refill (4x4-4 or 2x8-8) the board 5 times easily. If you want more add another shadowstep.
And again, I don't say this deck is better than the Leeroy version. There are not too many cards differing but yet the playstyle is very different.

There are many things you can do with Miracle Rogue. Just try different builds and have fun with it!
If you go for the Cold Bloods I would recommend playing the Leeroy version without Giants.
I posted this build on purpose to show that not only Leeroy and Cold Blood builds are viable as I felt like everyone was playing taht at the moment. If you want those builds check out J4ackieChan's build for example.
But yet again, it is never a waste of time playing Miracle Rogue and test different builds as they are all fun :)
Looks good vs cubelock and priest, but it will get smashed against aggro pally/zoo.
With the current version I had positive stats against either.
But the samplesize is not big enough, I know.
I feel the Corridor Creeper and Patches nerf will make the matchup better.
Why no leeroy cold blood?
I don't say this one is better, but it is more fun and strategically much more demanding.
Why do people downvote this?
If you want the Leeroy lists then check one of the lists out, that already got posted several times.
because your bad >:)
happy gay day (pried)
