Greetings everyone!
I wanted to create an F2P for new players, after some test on Aggro Hunter decks I realized it has many rare cards,so I came up with this one!
*Update* NEW VIDEO!
Showcase (by Kiwiinbacon):
Against Aggro:
Mulligan for: Candleshot and if you have it you can also keep Southsea Deckhand ,Alleycat,Dire Mole, Bloodsail Raider.
Against Control:
Mulligan for:Dire Mole + Crackling Razormaw , Animal Companion and if priest Bearshark.
You can keep Houndmaster too if you have the Coin and a beast to play before him.
Replacements are possible you can always add Bonemare if you are losing tempo aster a while or Cobalt Scalebane if you see a lot of priests.
+Bonemare / Cobalt - Dread Corsair / Naga Corsair
Against Priest: Bearshark is your best friend don't Mulligan for Candleshot , Also prefer not to keep Alleycat the game really depends on if he will find a Dragonfire etc. In most positions you won't be able to do good trades with him so go face but killing his Acolyte is important so you can deny draw.
Against Hunter: Do good trades, use your life with your weapon as a resource don't let him stick his beasts on the board trades are a must in this matchup if you want to win.
Against Warlock:Always have in your mind to don't give him an easy clear with defile, mulligan for Dire Mole so he won't be able to coin, If he is a Cubelock try your best face is the way,may the topdeckjesus be with you.
Against Rogue:Go all in,do trades if you can get high value from them, use your hero power they don't have any life resource.Consider keeping Eaglehorn Bow if you have low cast cards to start with.
Against Druid: Go mulligan for Candleshot and the pirate package best option if aggro to maintain board,if he is jades always remember Spreading Plague don't overflow your board with low minions.Go for smart trades if he is aggro don't let him buff his minions.
Against Mage: Hard Mathup if he is a tempo mage, maybe the worst of all, face is the way keep Eaglehorn Bow .
Against Shaman,Warrior,Paladin:
Error 404 :P But from past experience Evovle Shaman is a hard match up and you should try to go for your most high health minions.
Improvements are possible and obvious you can always add Creepers,Savanah,Hydras,Patches,Leeroy, etc.
But you can find tones of decks like that the point is to stay F2P
But if you really liked the idea of the deck and have the dust chech Orange's HCT Amsterdam hunter deck's check --->
This is a fun f2p deck. I think it has a lot of space to improve. Wish to have dust enough to make it even better, hehe.
I highly recommend change 1 Alleycat and 1 Southsea Deckhand x 2 Explosive Trap
Great deck !!!
I was having trouble against board control, especially against paladin with this deck. So i swapped an Alleycat and a Southsea Deckhand for 2 Explosive traps..and that works! Climbed from rank 19 to 13!
The only way you'd climb to rank 10 with this is if you face ONLY other cheap aggro/tempo decks. Any half-decent midrange/control beats this. It's ok against the thing it's designed to beat.
To be fair though it's 1k dust, so I'd still recommend it for very new players. Tempo Mage is better for people with a little more dust though.
any suggestions to replace naga cosair?
one of each?
Thank you. Will give it a try.
I am really liking this deck so far. As a F2P player, it helps a lot. ^_^
Of course this deck not perfect bcs its so simply and cheap but still very helpfull for fast climb and success just play style vs your opponents versus priest, rogue and mage try to buff Bearshark with Houndmaster and Crackling Razormaw versus other opponents go face and climb to 10 ,
a nice way to teach new comers the cancerous SMOrc face-turd pirate style since they missed it in gadgestan expansion ..
i think that deck can hit rank 10 easily but that is the kind of style the game is trying to get rid of :/
There's place for all kind of decks, face, tempo, control, mill, etc...that's how a CCG works...
Plus not everyone spends real cash on this game - other "competitive decks" are at least 5 times more expensive.
0-7 rank 15 :( I,m suck..
Yeah, how can you possibly don't have a perfect mulligan with 8 1-drops and all deck of cost less than 4?
How do you lose with this deck? Maybe you're just salty because Razakus Priest got nerfed.
I wasn't sure when I checked this out the first time, then I realised it was probably one of the cheapest decks I have ever played with and I gotta say, It's pretty freakin good for what it's worth. I gladly recommend this deck and I beleive you should try it out especially if you just got into the game recently.
I made a video showcasing the deck in action, which I hope you enjoy
Decent deck but its success only proves how much aggro decks are running rampant cause a control deck would easily stop this F2P deck. But hey good starter deck and add a bonemate or two since its usable in other higher tiered decks so its not throwing away dust either way
Aggro decks are usually the cheapest decks to make in any ccg. That's one of the reasons they are so present in the game, because many players are f2p, and it's favorable to use a deck that costs less dust, which is many aggro decks(with a few downgrades). However, aggro decks run out of steam quickly, which is why control decks that draw any efficient board clear will instantly win
Control is pretty trash in this meta. I have effectively crushed many a control Warlock with cheap face Hunter and Keleseth Rogue; besides, Bonemare is getting pretty heavily nerfed. And how on EARTH does your logic make sense? "This deck's success shows that aggro decks are everywhere BECAUSE control can 'easily' stomp them". Are you using reverse psychology on yourself?
This deck works.Got to rank 9 though. Now i won't have to eat tomato soup for a week to save up money for packs. Thanks!
Well met! If you want to make this deck better with few upgrades and learn how to SMORc properly you can check out this video where I explain my thought process. I hope you will learn something. May the RNGesus be with you! ;)
