Demons are scary especially when they grow bigger!
This deck is for fun and has a good winrate against most minion heavy decks. Currently 25-6, this deck loses almost against all rogues and control locks . I know that the winrate could be a lucky streak, but as you can see its working so far. When i posted this deck i haf 15-3 and now 25 - 6. Winrate lowers with ranks ofcourse..
Mulligan for 1 drop demons, Flame Imp Voidwalker Malchezaar's Imp if you have that, you can keep the upgrades or potentially a Vulgar Homunculus. You will have a hard time winning without your one drops as you want these to grow BIG.
The key component is to get your early minions big as fast as you can and hit face as often as you can. your doomguards/soulfire can finish it off. The deck has quite some taunts, which helps to guard your bigger/buffed demons. DO NOT just go for board control, as only early they can't do e.g. dragon fire etc.. know when you are ahead and pwn that face ya!!! typically only 8 turns needed, though i choose to have Bloodreaver Gul'dan as potential finisher at 10 (respawn the doom guards). In addition i added silence cards Spellbreaker so you can silence their taunts and continue to bring them low.
- Mulligan for 1 drop demons
- Make them bigger and hit face with it.
- Protect them (e.g. against priest try to buff to 4 attack) and play taunts (keep hitting face with demons)
- Lower them fast with doomguards and soulfire. Getting them in kill range.
- Win at turn per average at turn 8.
---- update ----
Winrate lowers, mostly due to many warlocks/hunters and some bad draws, still 75%. with 43 wins 14 losses
Check out this video. he plays it well! i would be bit more aggresive with the doomguards.
I replaced my Bonemares with 1xUnlicensed Apothecary and 1xMortal Coil and it seems to work fairly well. I only have one Unlicensed Apothecary, but I am considering crafting another one. It might be too much, though.
Edit: I just realized this doesn't work with Bloodreaver Gul'dan. I'm not sure how to work that out other than maybe removing Gul'dan.
This deck has been one of the best I've played in quite some time, I wonder how the nerf will affect it.
this deck is a heavy hitter, lost 2 out of 15 games so far and one was a mirror MU and the other was against cubelock
deck is trash. 0-6 so far. Good thing i'm rank 15 or i'd be rank 20 by now. I can see how it can be decent but i've just been playing against priests and rogues. Priests death and pain just make this deck terrible.
If u not used to playing Warlock it might be hard to grasp, but this deck and variants of it is killing it in the Meta actually, along with a bunch of other decks ofc
How can you not have spellstone in this?
you mostly don't kill thier minion. Just go face xD
Disgusting.
Is it possible to reach rank 5 with this deck?
Yes definitely i went from roughly 15 - 5 with it. After that it becomes harder. Win rate lowered down to ~60%.
Replaced Malchezaar's Imp with Hooked Reaver cuz don't have those. So far 22-14, got to 15 rank c:
Sucks against Murloc Paladins and Rouges, but otherwise is pretty good
Thanks!
Any repleacement for Malchezaar's Imp ?
I hate Soulfire
any replace for Bloodfury Potion?
dusting some cards and crafting it
i dont think so, it is a +3/+3 on a demon but maybe Cobalt Scalebane for the attack boost or Fungalmancer is like a double Demonfire
They are good suggestions but I think it's a little slow for this deck
I've used one Hooked Reaver to replace Bloodfury Potion Not that bad
Hey boys! I tried out this warlock deck as well and I had nice game against dragon combo priest which I would not call a favorable matchup. You can see the game bellow I am trying to explain every move I am doing which I think is useful for newer players. Hope youcan enjoy! :)
Gul'Dan seems pretty worthless when the end goal is lethal by turn 8. Swap Gul'Dan and -1 Spellbreaker for +2 C. Creepers
