Hey guys,
The video says it all! I think we've reached Lynessa's Final Form! :) More description in the video, please take a look and let me know what you think!
*EDIT* I have made a few edits to the deck following the nerfs patch. I have added a couple of strong control utility cards with heavy card draw to help cycle to spells quicker. Buffing Lynessa more allows us to reallocate some of the "greed" cards like the drakes to some better midrange options to help ensure we get to the late game. Finally, I have replaced 1 Primalfin Champion with The Voraxx and would you believe that its not only fun, but feeling strong in this deck? Spells cast by The Voraxx do not double proc from the plant, but the plant spawns really give you a big "free" board to deal with before your Lynessa comes down.
+1 Wickerflame Burnbristle -2 Rallying Blade
+2 Corpsetaker -2 Primordial Drake
+1 Lay on Hands -1 Primalfin Champion
+1 Harrison Jones -1 Corridor Creeper
+1 The Voraxx
Check out the game play video below for more tips on how to pilot this deck. :)

As always, if you play the deck please let me know how it runs for you! I'd love to hear your feedback! :)

Fun but lost every game today thanks to extreme bad draw.... last 2 cards vs jade druid (ie) are lynessa and uther. had to exhaust all removals and the game kept dragging on while his jade golems grew past my chance to block them.
btw i think 1 corpsetaker would be more effecient, but thats after 2 hours of bad luck, like drawing corpsetaker after all taunts are out of the deck XD
I draw bad but it is also a very slow deck when you dont curve too well or don't get those fat minions out.
against control you often draw the short stick after turn 8. by the time you can start playing your good minions and buff them before they get removed (8 mana+) they already have board control. And if you happen to reset the board and play lynessa it gets removed or silenced.
against any sort of agro you might stand a chance if u draw doomsayers.
Its alot of fun when you manage to get voraxx on board and buff it twice but that rarely happens.
Against cube lock its a decent deck as long as you can keep clearing the board but we go into fatigue almost every game and then its a race against the clock where they can fill the board again :(
Anyway I had some gr8 runs right after patches nerf (win rate 75%) but now I have lost 70-80% out of 20 games.
I ofcourse made some mistakes here and there but so did my opponents
Hey Tim,
I have found pretty consistent results vs. late game decks like Jade Druid and Warlocks. If you haven’t already done so I would suggest you check out my YouTube gameplay videos linked above. Specifically vs. Warlock I find if I plan the board clears around their Bloodreaver Gul'dan and N'Zoth, the Corruptor turns I have good success...you can see that play out in the game play above.
I of course don’t know if this helps your game play but if you watch how I pilot the deck you may pick up some valuable advise along the way. For example I tend to always hold Lynessa Sunsorrow until I can play with Zola the Gorgon on the same turn vs. late game decks. I have rarely had an opponent be able to silence or hard remove my Lynessa as they usually blow their silence / hard removal on previous Spikeridged Steed, Tirion Fordring, The Voraxx, etc.
Hello Testdr1ve,
thanks for the reaction.
Ofcourse i have watched you play this deck :). I went more Toe to Toe with the previous version with the primordial drake. And i rarely play zola before i get 10 mana but with the current version I feel like i have to clear the board before my opponents key turns or before they play bloodreaver i.e. and then left without any mass removal. And I also had some nasty faceless bastards cloning my Lynessa. But we ofcourse have 2 of those :PAnyway I should indeed try to hold on to the mass removals untill late game. Cube lock is easy to mittagate the dmg and use boardclears later on. However Iam gonna switch the drakes back in.I am just a retard.
This deck is a lot of fun :)
Hey Siritanusik,
Good question...I have been playing with the deck build post nerf patch and have indeed made a handful of revisions including the removal of Corridor Creeper. Check out the new deck build guide above along with some game play footage (warning long!) if you are interesting in seeing these revisions in action.
So this happened. Hahah. Had a 14/29 and a 15/30 Lynessa
Hahaha.....that board tho. xD
gg PWN!
Hahah. When your Lynessa's deathrattle is better than your opponent's spreading plague XD
This is a fun deck! I am missing Zola the Gorgon, so I'm running a copy of The Last Kaleidosaur instead, which has won me quite a few games.
I haven't tried this deck but I have made a similar one that is working pretty well currently. The differences are -2x Primalfin Champion, -2x Rallying Blade, -1x Tirion Fordring, -1x Corridor Creeper, -2x Primordial Drake and +2 Righteous Protector, +2x Dirty Rat, +2x Call to Arms, +1x Wickerflame Burnbristle, +1x Ragnaros, Lightlord
Edit: Facing less aggro so -1x Wickerflame Burnbristle for +1x Dinosize which has been pretty insane on it's own and been even crazier when Lynessa Sunsorrow gets played
Thanks Graw,
Thank you! :) I posted up gameplay footage vs. a Jade Druid deck that shows some of the abilities of this deck....especially when you consider what a late game beast Jade Druid is. Check it out below! :)
In regards to your questions, I am thinking that 1x Corridor Creeper in this deck will still work out as this deck makes great use of his 0 cost plus a buff on the same turn. That said, I have been experimenting with swapping out the Corridor Creeper for Wickerflame Burnbristle since he can heal you up for so much and helps with the aggro matchup....been liking the results but either seems useful in different situations.
The Zola the Gorgon is great utility and helps with the late game to get 2xLynessa Sunsorrow, and the Uther of the Ebon Blade is also very strong in the late game with the ability to heal up, deal with their board and even puts constant hero power pressure that they must send resources at. In fact, both these cards showed up huge in the gameplay I posted above. However, if i had to replace them I would probably look to replace them with late game options like The Lich King or even a small N'Zoth, the Corruptor [/card] package with a couple of [card]Loot Hoarders to get some much needed card draw back in the deck, and pair with your Tirion Fordring('s)?
I used [card]Wickerflame Burnbristle[/card] and left out 1 Primalfin Champion. maybe i will change it to Corridor Creeper and add the 2nd Primal tho
I really like this deck and your video coverage of it mate. Really down to earth and informative, keep it up :)
Thank you so much PwnEngine! Check out Lynessa's Final Form! :)
0-5 With this.... doesn't really fit in this meta.
Doomsayer does not combo well at all with Call to Arms, and Spellbreaker is a life saver, so I swapped two of the former out for the latter.
What add on are you running to track your cards?
Never mind ... I see that it's Hearthstone Deck Tracker.
Thnx for posting update. Is the dk really necessary?
i replaced call to arms and rat with 2 loot hoarders and it's performing quite well
I can see that. Dirty Rat is nice but the deck needs card draw.
