Well, guys this is my "homemade" K'nC handlock, but before the overview I'll do a quick disclaimer:

This deck is not supposed to break the meta, or give you the absolute highest WR to get to legend, Its pourpose is just share my efforts of bringing back some of the good ol' feelings playing one of the funnyest decks of all time in my oppinion, playing with fun cards and tweak it a bit to fit the current state of the game.

(Keep in mind that this version of the deck is the one I could come up with my quite limited F2P collection of cards, so feel free to suggest what would be a nice addition to the list.)

  • Mulligan:

    I like to split the mulligan on two categories to make it simple: Vs Aggro or Vs Control/combo. But Kobold Librarian and Lesser Amethyst Spellstone are useful in almost any matchup

    1. Versus aggro you are looking for the few turn one plays, the taunts and early removal like Kobold LibrarianMistress of MixturesStonehill Defender and most importantly DefileHellfire is also a consideration if you have the coin, but might not be enough against the more hyper agressive decks;

    2. Against the more slow decks you want the early pressure of Mountain Giant and Twilight Drake, and the awesome Dirty Rat if you face a combo deck. Against Priests especificaly it is worth considering to keep Lord Jaraxxus, with the nerf and upcoming rotation of Raza the card becomes even more safe.

  • Deck Basics:

  • Your game plan will vary with the deck you're up against, but the tools open the possibility for some interesting win conditions with the Lord Jaraxxus value generation and even the little burst with the Leeroy Jenkins/Faceless Manipulator finisher that have won me lots of games. The list has two Twisting Nether because people can just develop huge boards out of nowhere (I have my eyes on you Bloodreaver Gul'dan), and the deck does open some space for tech cards like DoomsayerAbyssal Enforcer and Shroom Brewer.

  • Versus aggro the plan is run your opponent out of gas with taunts, heals and efficient removals. You may notice that unlike the old handlock this list lacks taunt enablers for the big guys, that's because I find way too inconscistent and sometimes to slow duo to the 2 cards requirement, therefore I just choose for early removals, heals and a couple of taunts to grind into the late game where the deck will dominate the faster ones.

  • Against control you want a solid midgame with Twilight Drake and Mountain Giant, then you can either push the opponent's health to the combo reach or jam Lord Jaraxxus in a good board state to secure the late game.

    And That's all for now guys, hope you enjoy the deck, comments are always wellcome, have fun, and may the RNG be with you all

 PS:

(1) Changed Bloodmage Thalnos for one Tained Zealot on this list to make the deck a little cheaper, you can choose the one whose fits better for you.

(2) Removed  Tained Zealot to add some more healing with Dark Pact, and Doomsayer showed itself more useful than Vulgar Homunculus
