Why not Dirty Rat ?

Rat is very RNG in many ways - can be great when he pulls Raza or Cube but unfortunately this is a very small % of games ... he is more or less unplayable vs aggro and tempo unless backed up by removal - meaning turn 7+ so it really depends from the majority of the matchups you are facing and at least from what i can tell 60%+ is aggro hence Sentry+Drywhisker will be consistently better and if you are running them i doubt you will have room for another 2 drop.

Very important thing is that you don't actually need it vs Razakus as it is usually enough to burn their 1 mana spells with Geist to dampen the Velen turn and armour up as much as possible (don't forget to keep some removal for Velen) and you have a very good chance to CONSISTENTLY win this matchup without needing any lucky Rats.

The one matchup where they could bring some serious value is Cubelock, with careful planning it's pretty possible to pull Cube, Umbra, Faceless, Prince etc. - making the uphill battle more bearable. 

Have come to the conclusion that this is likely a good metagame deck if you're rank 3+/Legend and likely an amazing tournament deck, but for general ladder play it's not very good. There are so many things you just can't beat because you lack card generation to provide extra value or, even with Dead Man's Hand, the fact that you have to draw so much just to stay in the game means you're MAYBE a card or two behind your opponent if they're running a deck without much draw.

I played something similar to this except it used two dead mans, bring it on and flurry instead of brawl, and the darkness instead of geist. The darkness is really good to copy and play multiple times, it wrecks jade druid because they draw so much and it also helps vs priest. Flurry also seems more consistent than brawl, especially if u add bring it on.

If you want, I swapped in Brawl + Geosculptor Yip for King Mosh + Battle Rage (mostly b/c I didn't have him and I felt like I wasn't getting enough value out of battle rage).  Dropping yip late game gets the ball moving in your favor quite quickly.

Also, Elise is out of standard lmao

The 5 mana Elise the trailblazer is still in standard
