Before anything, this may seem like just a copy of a deck that has been done before but believe me, it has its differences and if you enjoy playing it, please upvote it because it helps a lot.
Hey guys, Kaotic/Gabe here. I’m not that good of a player but today I am going to show you a variation of the popular “Cubelock” control decks I have been playing with that I believe could be a final version. It runs N’zoth the Corruptor which can bring you back late game and has saved me many times, Prince Taldaram which is fun to experiment with Carnivorous Cube, especially on other peoples’ minions, and it also has only 4 Demons so you can pull out what you need with Possesed Lackey, and if you end up drawing them, just get them out of your hand from Skull of the Man’ari. Lastly, I run spells like Twisting Nether and other removal because I feel it has more of a positive effect than a harmful one and is a must in most control decks now. Basically, it’s a Controlock with tons of stuff to counter other Control decks that are everywhere like Priests. Here’s a video made by one of my friends the amazing Kiwiinbacon showcasing its might. (Ignore the first concedes :p)
MULLIGANS
You will want to keep Kobold Librarian, Mistress of Mixtures, and Possesed Lackey mainly. The last one even though it doesn’t have an immediate effect you want to keep it cause really if you don’t play it turn 5 it has no effect late game. To a lesser extent if you have worse stuff, Mortal Coil, and Bloodmage Thalnos are good as well. DO NOT keep your Demons no matter what because you really want to pull them out with Possesed Lackey. If you draw them though, it’s not the end of the world because there’s always Skull of the Man’ari.
CHANGEABLE CARDS
Although part of what makes this deck separate from the other Cubelocks circulating is it's choices in minions and spells, there are some replacements that I recommend, especially if you are choosing something over another.
Bloodmage Thalnos - I am often asked about the importance of this card, as it seems small compared to the rest of the deck and it is, but it’s really supportive and can be revived with N’zoth the Corruptor. So when replacing, I don’t recommend Zealous Initiate because he is not in the deck for the Spell Damage even though it’s helpful, he’s there for draw and the Death Rattle particularly so the ideal choice is Loot Hoarder.
Prince Taldaram - I don’t recommend replacing him because he is one of the things that makes this deck special, but if you don’t have him Faceless Manipulator works pretty good.
Spiritsinger Umbra - Once again, a fun part of this deck, but there are so many other things in the deck that are strong and often you find her being destroyed within a turn. If you own her, you should run her, but if you don’t, don’t feel like you can’t play the deck, you can put in another decent 4-drop.
As for rares and epics, there isn’t much that can replace them if you don’t own them, the few epics ran in this deck are pretty key so maybe wait on this one if you don’t have a varying collection. NO YOU CAN’T REPLACE N’ZOTH THE CORRUPTOR!!!! He makes this deck this deck so if you don’t own him, play a different Cubelock deck!!!

Coming Very Soon!
If you liked this deck, be sure to upvote it and like Kiwiinbacon’s video, he’s a great youtuber and the support always helps, thanks to him also and all of the gang for helping me make this deck what it is now in it’s probably final version. Happy winning!
i mean i can see this for taldaram, umbra and the skull, but n'zoth thalnos and gul'dan should already be in your collection ...
Holy crap guys thanks so much for 50 upvotes!!! and number two on frontpage!!!
what a great deck!! I have a 70% wr so far with it. Gnomeferatu is a great addition to the deck, though i swapped out -1 Twisting Nether for +1 Hellfire
ya it's either or i prefer twisting tho
Gnomeferatu? you'll have to let me know how they perform for you. one of the warlock cards i don't actually have yet.
a dragonsoul meme deck for one. it looks awesome.
I know Prince Taldaram can be replaced by Faceless Manipulator but is he worth crafting? Do you see him applicable to possibly all classes? Just wondering if he's worth crafting as I have the dust.
at the moment the only real place he has a home in is this deck. but also i'm not the person to ask. if you are looking to craft this specific deck or you have all the other cards in this he might be worth it but otherwise i'd say craft something more guarenteed to stay good like edwin of leeroy or sunkeeper
I have found Thalnos to be a big detriment in this deck. He only really helps with Defile. Also, the spellstone doesn't really help that much as there are only a few cards to trigger it.
What seems to be a really amazing meta choice right now is Gnomeferatu. While basically a river croc against aggro, against control and combo decks (priest & warlock both right now, along with quest mage, etc.) it can single handedly win you the game. Milling a death knight or a key combo piece can be an immediate concession.
Which cards would you replace for Gnomeferatu? I actually love that card and used 2 of them in my control deck (the best against priest for sure). I'm pretty surprised it's very much under-utilized in warlock decks.
I cut Thalnos & 1 of the spellstones.
currently working on an anti cubelock paladin
I tried the deck but I can't get it to work. The chances of drawing the combo at the right time are low. Skull does nothing most of the time, while I invested 5 mana and a card in it.
Am I doing something wrong? I played Control Warlock before and did fine.
guys thjis is basically playing my deck just two cards swapped XDDD
Yeah, except this deck has been made like a million times before and I highly doubt he uses some random +35 hearthpwn deck.
it's a variation i created that works really well
