Here's Satellite's big spell priest he piloted to #3 and #2 legend the first week of the Kobold's meta. (Pictures from Satellite are at the end, along with video footage from several Hearthpwn content creators.)

Latest Updates: Removed the nerfed cards and went with what seems to be the best list right now in ranks 5 to legend. Faerie Dragons are great but it turns out Cabal Shadow Priests are better. Use on big minions you weaken with Twilight Acolyte.
Basic plan with this deck
1. Play minions for tempo. Buff your other minions or refill your hand. Keep putting pressure on the board. Use Faerie Dragon to contest 3 health minions.
2. Bring out your dragons to contest the midgame. Have Duskbreaker ready/activated and use it wisely! Use Twilight Acolyte to neuter big threats.
3. Pile on with big dragons Twilight Drake and Drakonid Operative.
4. As early as possible, drop Spiteful Summoner for a free 8 or 10 cost minion and a devastating board swing.
5. Leverage your big spells further with Grand Archivist or play them from hand.
List updated on 12/13 with Satellite's latest changes.
Basic mulligan strategy
Always mulligan for Northshire Cleric and Netherspite Historian.
Against aggro always keep Duskbreaker and possibly another dragon.
Against slow decks (priest mirror, control warlock) consider keeping Spiteful Summoner.
With a good hand or the coin, consider keeping Kabal Talonpriest and Tar Creeper.
Alternate 2/3 mana cards to try/substitute
Faerie Dragon
Golakka Crawler
Curious Glimmerroot
Deathspeaker
Gluttonous Ooze
Mind Control Tech
Zola the Gorgon (reuse your Duskbreaker or Spiteful Summoner!)
If you want to run Prince Keleseth, Southsea Captain and his buddy Patches the Pirate like Firebat, check out: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1004039-big-spell-prince-tempo-dragon-priest (good option if you don't have Netherspite Historian)
If you want to run more board clears like Doomsayer and Dragonfire Potion, check out: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/999316-big-spell-dragon-priest
Here's both versions of the big spell/Spiteful Summoner deck (Satellite non-pirate and Firebat pirate) sitting in the top 5 of all priest decks in the rank 1-5 meta for the week of 12/13/17-12/19/17:
Enjoy the steamroll and may the big spells be with you!
Xixo won Seat Story VIII, going 3-1 in the finals with a similar deck and clinching with big spell hunter! He also brought big spell murloc paladin!

Thanks to Kadakk, Furo, and KiwiiNBacon for the deck gameplay videos below!
Seems to be the deck to beat tonight. EVERYONE is playing this deck.
Just play Big Spell Mage then. Eats this deck for breakfast.
Since I'm short one of Spiteful Summoner so I replace with Zola the Gorgon will that be ok? I do I have Mediv? or Shall I replace with Mediv instead?? Any suggestion? Thanks guys :)
I think there are lots of cards you can replace in this deck, but the deck is all about putting a 4/4 and a 8 or 10 drop on the board turn 6. I don't think you want to play this without two Spiteful Summoner
Haha.. I just tried this deck... I totally agreed with you... Saving dust for extra Spiteful Summoner.. meanwhile I replace with ooze/eater od secret.. coz, Zola is too greedy...
Spiteful Summoner is definitely core. Zola could mitigate it, but you'll be limited in how far you can go without the second Summoner.
Without one Spiteful Summoner, currently I'm manage to hit rank 8. Hopefully can hit rank 5 though :)
I'd -1 Grand Archivist and +1 Medivh
Larger body for mana, doesn't throw your mind control away on a silver hand recruit, weapon gives you more big minions with your spells.
Grand Archivist isn't susceptible to weapon removal and gives a consistent 8-10 drop every turn. I doubt you can do better with Medivh. With Medivh you have to have the spells in your hand. Not so with GA.
Worth it for the better body and higher control on the 4 spells the deck has imo. No body runs weapon removal anyway in my experience, not enough to worry about it anyway.
Nobody's running weapon removal???
9 new legendary weapons in Kobolds alone.
You bet I'm running weapon removal...
What do you think is the best replacement for Netherspite Historian?
Dude, it's just a common...you don't have 200 dust?
You need karazhan to craft it
Not an unbeatable deck by any means, but certainly damn fun to play and to play against!
thats a 57% WR....
kabal courier is the best replacment it has a similiar kinda effect :D
By 20-15 he means rank 20-15
