Here's Satellite's big spell priest he piloted to #3 and #2 legend the first week of the Kobold's meta. (Pictures from Satellite are at the end, along with video footage from several Hearthpwn content creators.)

Latest Updates: Removed the nerfed cards and went with what seems to be the best list right now in ranks 5 to legend. Faerie Dragons are great but it turns out Cabal Shadow Priests are better. Use on big minions you weaken with Twilight Acolyte.
Basic plan with this deck
1. Play minions for tempo. Buff your other minions or refill your hand. Keep putting pressure on the board. Use Faerie Dragon to contest 3 health minions.
2. Bring out your dragons to contest the midgame. Have Duskbreaker ready/activated and use it wisely! Use Twilight Acolyte to neuter big threats.
3. Pile on with big dragons Twilight Drake and Drakonid Operative.
4. As early as possible, drop Spiteful Summoner for a free 8 or 10 cost minion and a devastating board swing.
5. Leverage your big spells further with Grand Archivist or play them from hand.
List updated on 12/13 with Satellite's latest changes.
Basic mulligan strategy
Always mulligan for Northshire Cleric and Netherspite Historian.
Against aggro always keep Duskbreaker and possibly another dragon.
Against slow decks (priest mirror, control warlock) consider keeping Spiteful Summoner.
With a good hand or the coin, consider keeping Kabal Talonpriest and Tar Creeper.
Alternate 2/3 mana cards to try/substitute
Faerie Dragon
Golakka Crawler
Curious Glimmerroot
Deathspeaker
Gluttonous Ooze
Mind Control Tech
Zola the Gorgon (reuse your Duskbreaker or Spiteful Summoner!)
If you want to run Prince Keleseth, Southsea Captain and his buddy Patches the Pirate like Firebat, check out: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1004039-big-spell-prince-tempo-dragon-priest (good option if you don't have Netherspite Historian)
If you want to run more board clears like Doomsayer and Dragonfire Potion, check out: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/999316-big-spell-dragon-priest
Here's both versions of the big spell/Spiteful Summoner deck (Satellite non-pirate and Firebat pirate) sitting in the top 5 of all priest decks in the rank 1-5 meta for the week of 12/13/17-12/19/17:
Enjoy the steamroll and may the big spells be with you!
Xixo won Seat Story VIII, going 3-1 in the finals with a similar deck and clinching with big spell hunter! He also brought big spell murloc paladin!

Gameplay videos and Satellite's legend screenshots for this deck
Thanks to Kadakk, Furo, and KiwiiNBacon for the deck gameplay videos below!
A pretty long game, but it was fun facing another priest with slightly similar deck. He got pretty lucky, in my biased opinion, but check out the ending for yourself. :/ Again... It's long - almost went through the entire deck. Enough blabbing.
I have lost 7 games in a row, but I dont have the Corridor Creeper
Best Deck for Priest thankz a lot !!!!
Nice deck. As I don't have Netherspite Historian, I replaced it with Youthful Brewmaster, nice synergy with powerful battlecry cards like spiteful and dusk. Curious Glimmerroot are too expensive for the value they provide, I just tech them for Faerie Dragon for more battlecry activation.
Not a great followup to Spiteful Summoner on 6.
It's a bad card for this deck. Grand archivist will pull this from deck and wipe your own board.
This deck plans to stay on board, especially from turn 6 on. Much better to run a silence than a card that clears your board too.
New Fun for playing Hearthstone! Thank you! 2 Plays, 2 Wins Level 14.
+1 Dragonfire Potion ?

Ouch! You hit the 0.1% jackpot.
All spells in hand and no dragon. How can this happen?! xD
At least you didn't commit any further to the game. Lol. That's a pretty easy concede.
That is unfortunate, though. I can hear the cards, turn after turn, "Not--gonna--happen--nope."
Amazing deck man! I've been having a lot of fun with it!
alright, I have been getting rekt by agro pally and hunters. If I don't draw duskbreaker I lose. Even if I'm drawing duskbreaker I lose.
I even swapped out the glimmerroots with stonehill defenders and I'm still getting crushed by agro.
Any advice? this is all at rank 13 btw
My version is:
-2 Glimmerroot, -1 Twilight Drake, -1 Archivist
+2 Southsea Captain, +1 Patches, +1 Corridor Creeper
That gives you a lot more trade potential early on (Satellite only cut a creeper because he was facing mostly control at high legend). Against aggro decks, mulligan for your early drops, duskbreaker, and creeper. Fight for the board and stabilize in the mid-game. Your guys are buffer, so once you clear their first couple turns it's okay to slow-play so that you can hero power every turn. Sometimes it's better to heal dudes than face so they can trade more. Usually once you get a good Bonemare to stick, you win.
Any tips for playing from R5 to Legen with that Deck?
I think every Matchup is winable with it but i´m struggling to go past Rank 4 with it
Play more and learn from your mistake. :P
