I like that this guy has a 75% chance to trade perfectly with tazdingo and sludge belcher. Potentially two trades isn't bad at all.
And if you get the 7/6 and he is bgh'd, that just saves your Dr. Boom's hide.
shaman get a solid 4 drop. mid range shaman looking like it should be getting steam at release.
yeah but it's super sick because it barely matters what attack value you get. Really get above 4 sick because you tempo trade into belchers but even at 4 it just kills basically anything while living.
This is cool, but since it's basically a 5 drop you need +2 attack to get 11 combined stats for value. On average you get +2.5 and you can play it on turn 4 so it's good but not OP. I like this card.
I mean, I referenced the difference between 4+1 and 5 in my comment. I do agree that shaman needs some more good cards.
yay finally a four drop minion that shaman will use
Even in the worse case scenario this seems like a better pick than hungry dragon.
sooo solid card for shaman? Tnx Blizz. Shame its not a dragon, but i'd say this card is easily overpowers Hungry Dragon.
Holy shit this card will be insane on arena and its common.
7/6 for 4 mana. ok blizzard that seems balanced Kappa
The possibility of a venture co. without the drawback. Also handicaps you at 4mana the next turn (if played on turn 4) isn't that OP, solid though.
What he means is that because of the fireguard on steroid, the opponent is forced to play bgh aka counter the threat and not put his own threat like piloted shreder or some shit. He also doesn't play on curve since it's the 4th turn and BGH is 3 mana. So although playing BGH is a tempo gain, it's still a forced play instead of an optimal play on curve. Also it's used on a 4 mana minion, which is a smaller gain than using it on a 7-8 drops.
Go ahead and BGH it, clears the way for Boom.
Very strong for shaman especially for having no good 4 drops prior. Even in non overlaod decks, it's basically a water elemental with attack instead of a freeze. As a shaman player I'm happy to see at least one card be very strong. It's actually bad to get +4 attack because you can get BGHed unless you have an earth elemental ready to follow it up.
How Dunemaul shaman can even compete with this card just makes me sad though :/. Yea it has wind fury but seriously this card makes the other obsolete, silencing the ogre effect makes you lose the windfury. Almost better in every situation except for piloted golem spawn.
Nice.. real beefy with potential to be 7/6, too bad it doesnt have taunt lol
why all the rng for shammy? come on 1-4 matter so much.. even more than boombots
A 4/6 or 5/6 for 4 mana seems like a pretty sweet deal to me.
pro:
- nice hp
-decent stats
-tempogain for one turn
-can bait bgh
cons:
-bad vs fireball
-overload
if you get lava shock/more overload its pretty sick, otherwise similar to druid of the claw. but still a good card for shammy
And here I was thinking Hungry Dragon would be the most OP 4-drop ever.
Great card. Even a 4/6 for 4+1 mana is not that bad.
