Is it me or this is card kinda overrated? I know he can be used for 1/1s of good Deathrattles, but I feel he's too random.
A 1/1 deathrattle is better than a stronger one.
Does the summoned minion have its normal cost? Karazhan seems to be building an evolve deck for me with this and pantry soider.
This card is meta defining. Not sure if I like how the game is headed.
so I faced the most greedy priest I've ever seen.
Priest plays nothing for a few turns, I build up my board, everything is going good, I'm playing a battlecry Shaman, so the minions aren't too high in stats, then suddenly a random Shadow Word: Horror appeared and took out half my board and the guy plays nothing but spells for a few more turns, still no minions in sight until turn nine, where he played Blood of The Ancient One, I kill it, he resurrects it and plays Barnes to get another one.
I then faced a 30/30 minion with no Hex in hand, so I sighed, passed my turn, and watched him Faceless Manipulator the minion twice.
I can't even....
This guy made my malyrogue deck so much funnier and powerful
Does Golden Barnes summon a golden copy of a minion?
Yep, done it a couple times in game.
It also summons a non-golden copy if you have a non-golden Barnes regardless if the copied card is golden or not.
Sweet, guess that's my next craft, thanks bro
Exactly like Elise.
4 mana 7/7 is too good they said.. Please nerf they said..
Why isn't the play voiceline here where he says "TONIGHT, a tale of glorious redemption..." ?
or "TONIGHT, a tale of long lost worlds..." etc
I crafted golden barnes so I really hope he ends up finding a home in a top tier deck or I'm screwed.
Barnes is kind of situational... but when you draw him on turn 4 with the tools (shadowstep/gang up) he wins you the game. Here are some examples:
Ugh, already been twice that my opponent pulled a Ragnaros the Firelord from Barnes on turn 4 against me.
Meanwhile, I don't even have Ragnaros. :(
For the lulz:
PULL Justicar Trueheart ONE MORE TIME!! I DARE YA!! I DOUBLE DARE YA!
I don't know why, but I'm in love with Barnes' play animation. The dimming of the lights, the spotlight onto the new minion, the beautiful music, and that majestic voice describing the fair "actor" that will be coming about.
