Deck requirement is quite limiting, basicly makes the card not useable in Duels either, as treasures are Neutral.

Was looking for this info. RIP my run right now. All paly cards, exarch, and a neutral treasure. Maybe next season they'll add Descent of Dragons so we can use wyrmrest purifier

Not sure how to feel about it. In standard, statistics say Broom/Pen Paladin is better than Pure Paladin, but maybe this is enough of a reward to not have to play those two cards?

of course, you're totally right. there's indeed nothing for Paladin, which is a shame. Of course, it is!



But, maybe.... you're firing your shots too early, and should wait for the whole package, to be released. Or maybe wait for the expansion to be live and play a few games. Also.... maybe, Paladin doesn't need this type of strategical option, because the class has other strengths to play with.... or maybe Paladin will receive other options to play with....  ("Hey Loser!")...

How can you "hope" when it's been several years now that in addition to senseless nerfs he hasn't received any decent card or synergistic archetype (at least giving him another libram ...) that can push him to the highest level ...
They remove divine favor and now we have a thief who draws with 1 mana a lot of cards, the 1 mana 1/3 draws 3 every turn... (then if you take away a card to draw, I would expect another, otherwise how can find what I need!?, instead, nothing... , then put even the worst unplayable legendaries in each exp, and, the cake is served...

It's Business... gives the community what it wants, make her happy... but this kills the game for lack of professionalism and balance... evidently they made their choice...

They stopped being professionals for years, approximately from the shudderwock years (now the hs ladder team operates from inside a closet) So I don't expect anything good for Paladin, like every year...

This gives me hope that they'll add another pure paladin card or two. By herself she's pretty good, and the libram package gives a chunky base for a pure strategy, but there does need to be more than just that to justify pure once YoTD rotates. 

Honestly this is probably an insane long shot of a call, but they said they might update paladins base set like they did with priest. I think they're going to remove one of the clunkers, and put in a pure card to canonise this as a class identity. I don't think zealot or crusader are becoming classic or base cards. People keep saying that expac cards should do that, and it never happens. But I think they might make a new card that's decent, and replace one of the trash paladin cards.

Yes! I love pure Paladin, but it definitely needed more than 2 cards to make it viable. Hopefully we get a couple more with this one. Might have to craft a gold version of this one.

Paladin: has some of the best year of the phoenix spells, amazing tempo, strong early and late game, now has access to pricy zilliax.

Paladin: I will now climb the ladder, and my legend will be inevitable...

In all reality I think I'll run at least one albatross in every deck to now fight the ever popular and growing pure paladin, Its a good thing most pure paladin cards will be cycling out after darkmoon fair.

 For the fact that if there's a lot of Pure paladin decks in the meta, a single bomb from a warrior would ruin your ENTIRE deck? a 4 mana 4/2 that does nothing, same for the 7/7 and now this yrel 7/5. That's why pure paladin will never be tier 1, because bomb warrior still exists and he's still a powerful deck, and that won't change until the whole bomb package rotates out.

Why ruin your opponent's strategy with high powered explosives when you can enjoy the evil yet humorous nature of ruining them with bad luck birdies? Available to all classes at the low low price of one or two deck slots.

As much as this is a good card, I worry that the popularity of this card will drop off once Lightforged Zealot and Lightforged Crusader rotate into wild. 

Another sad overcosted paladin legendary with boring design. Will probably follow the same path as Turalyon, the Tenured. They could have give her at least a trival tag like demon so at least she can be summoned again with N zoth, but no
