So How are Cabals different from Kabal?

A "cabal" is a REAL term in REAL life, for secret societies. The "Kabal" is just Kazakus's own kewl secret society.

The cabal is a society of shadow priests that are basically a cult in WoW

Kabal is a gang

So many new reasons for crafting golden Cabals with the new expansion :D

I feel like this card was indirectly nerfed by Standard. Lost several great targets from Naxx and GVG

the devs were thinking about nerfing this card but at the last moment they changed their minds.

looking at the cards released so far seems like cabal is going to remain as strong, there are a lot of slow cards that can be stealed

Removal of Shrinkmeister is essentially a nerf. No more snatching Ysera.
