worgen: *cries*
town: don't cry
Does this cry in front of the town? I mean, its name is "Town Crier". So it cries "TOOOWWWNNNNN"
Hoping for a new Tempo Warrior with these new rush tools.
Why is this an epic
The power level of the card matches that of an epic. Solid 1 mana 1/2 with immediate tutor effect. But, Town Crier should really be a rare card. I just wish the good shit was more accessible, but it's looking like another -800 dust...feels real bad brother
It has an effect that needs some kind of build-around. Even if one rush minion is enough, you're hanging on a chance you draw it before the crier, which means that you need enough rush minion. They used to put this kind of build-around on higher rarity to not hurt Arena synergy, but they don't really need to do that anymore with the new Arena rule.
IT'S THE WOLF WHO CRIED "Boy!"
and then the other wolves come rushing in to eat him
Fits into aggro decks, possible early removal if drawn quickly, or late game minion removal if a bigger rush minion is drawn. Could be good.
"Town Crier, I'd like to ask you a few questions:
One - Where's the rush minion?
Two - Gimmie the rush minion."
I don't have to be carefull, I got a rush minion!
HEAR YE HEAR YE! THIS CARD SEEMS LIKE IT HAS SOME GOOD POTENTIAL!
A True Warrior card for True Warriors
Huh... midrange/tempo warrior is gonna be a thing i guess idk is this and the wood cutters axe is strong enough add in the redband wasp
Kobold Librarian who?
This card should not be epic. it's clearly a staple of the archetypal deck and goes alongside cards like kobold librarian and shinyfinders.
Instead of actually being an epic it's just a bottleneck stopping you from actually building a decent rush deck. This is a poor show on a good card and is the exact issue people refer to when discussing the cost of the game.
I don't have an issue with the cost of the game but this the best example of that argument and the first one I agree with
Why does it matter what rarity it is? I understand that this isnt a Legendary, but why does it matter whether it is an epic, rare, or common?
Because of the chance of getting it from a pack, and the dust cost to craft it in case you don’t get it. As said before, it is a simple card that would be played on every Rush deck, so not having it makes a Rush deck feel incomplete.
Which wouldn't be so bad, if most of them were actually any good. ¬¬
Warrior is gonna be running TOP TIER this season.
Not top tier, but perhaps among the high tiers.
