Why not making him a 3/3 with "if it destroys a minion, can attack again"
This is an okay card... but not really legendary.
A stat shuffle might make it pretty good. 3/5 or 3/6. Actually give the card a chance to roll without removal. Or put it in ANY OTHER CLASS where damaging your own minions isn't a common theme, since every hitpoint matters with this guy
Give it Windfury and we have a deal
Good arena card... Win more...
I heard he likes to boogey...
after seeing the orange glow in a pack:
"oh boi yea I got a legendary
lets see what it is
...*sees this*...
shit"
he would be pretty good if he was able to stick after attacking and his health goes to 0 or -1, surviving when the ability triggers.
but we all know that's not how it works, and considering his low health, I don't see much use for him.
but hey, here's to hope, who knows, maybe he combos well with new, yet revealed, cards. Sudden Genesis or Rampage certainly could make interesting, albeit, niche combos with him
i give this a "meh"/10
Warlock is top of the meta right now and gets more strong cards like Lord Godfrey.
Warrior is in the shitter right now and gets a weaker The Boogeymonster.
The rich get richer.
Completely agree
A weaker boogeymonster ? You completely don't understand the power of this mechanic... This card is like 2 or even 3 times the power of boogeymonster. Think about it.
It's a 5 mana deal 4 damage to a minion. In a perfect world it kills a zero attack minion then it's a 5 mana 6/6. It has the potential to snowball out of control but you're dreaming if you think that will happen reliably.
a 5 mana 6/6 that deals 4 damage as battlecry seems pretty good to me. You don't know how to evaluate a card.
The most efficient way to evaluate this card is : deal 4 dmg to a minion with 4 atk or less. If that kills it summon a 6/2 or 6/3 etc.. that can even snowball later if let unanswered.
Obviously not on the legendary level but seems pretty good to me, and far from a 5 mana 6/6. (Think of Bane of Doom, Ethereal Conjurer, all of these are weaker cards yet not bad)
MISTER CROWLEY, WHAT WENT ON IN YOUR HEAD?
If there won't be any Ozzy reference in flavor text I'll be very disappointed.
Looks like Warrior is gonna stay Tier 4 for another few months.
goddamn stop the flame - its simply as it is - a removal, with the ability to get out of control over time like flappybird
In the best case scenario, this is a multi-creature removal over a few turns, which is pretty nice. On the badside this card is a 5 mana 4/4. On average its probably just a 5 mana 6/3 that clears an opponents minion and then dies the next turn due to some removal or something. The biggest issue in my opinion is how it needs to attack to get a buff. While it may be a bit strong if it triggers off of any minion it kills, it would atleast be playable. Another way to make the card better is to just make it absorb the stats of the thing it kills (seifer from faeria), letting it pump up more aggressively.
One card i see being somewhat parallel with this card is both Floating Watcher and Kvaldir Raider in terms of being punped up. The difference though is that those two could consistently pump up every turn, if not multiple times every turn. This card is worse than them in that regard, and both of those were pretty much unplayable the entire time they were in standard.
I hope something good pops up to make this card playable since I like the idea of it, just not the execution of it.
Explain how this guy could be a 6/2.
You play him and trade it into a 4 attack minion with 4 or less attack. Congrats you made him into a 6/2.
