United in Stormwind Cards List & Guide
Grito de batalla: Adapta a tus múrlocs.
Las apariencias engañan.
To be fair, Murloc decks are supposed to rush you down early and kill you or fizzle out, which is why Neptulon is unplayable in any form of Murloc deck. On the other hand, Murloc decks suck, so I have no problem giving them more tools, especially if they make previously unplayable cards playable. Good example is the Pintsized Potion and SW:H combo. SW:H on its own is garbage, with Pintsized it's a usable control Priest card. Too bad Blizzard killed control Priest by suddenly giving them the best board state in the game every time their mana refreshes. If this helps people make slower Murloc decks, I am 100% behind it, if it gives aggro Murloc decks a mid-game finisher other than Bloodlust, fuck my ass. Either way, this expansion is the last straw for a lot of people, so it's not surprising seeing people get pissed about flexible, archetype-specific cards. Blizzards biggest problem with sets is, all the possible control cards they print are pretty flexible, and they could possibly slot in aggro/midrange decks as a finisher, whereas the 3 drop lepper knomes that Blizzard prints will never be usable in a control deck. Also, early game weapons are really good, and when you give a single class 3 weapons between 1 and 3 mana, crazy board-controlling midrange decks are inevitable.
I understand your issue with aggro, but I dont think there is one really. I like Combo and control like everyone else on this side, but I dont hate Aggro. If 15 to 30% of the decks I faced were aggro, I'd be fine, the problem is when it is 40 to 60 or more %. And I especially don't have a problem with, out of those 25% aggro decks, 5% are murloc based, 5% are pirate based, 5% are mech based, 5% are Beast based and 5% are full on, anything goes, gotta rush face. In Hearthstone, and in life, variety is the spice of life, and having 3 types of Murloc decks (aggro-midrange-murloc shaman, control-combo-murloc paladin and zoo-demon-murloc warlock?) would be pretty great.
Aggro isn't "cancer", decks that make the meta revolve around them are.
I'm not saying that aggro is cancer, I'm saying that Blizzard doesn't print enough good control cards to actually make decks that fight the aggro cards. When it takes Control Warrior 4 turns to remove something and leaves then at 10 health, there's something wrong with the game. Control Warrior should be the quintessential control class, but instead it's unplayable in the current meta. It's insane how good aggro is right now and if we're not getting new *good* control cards in the next expansion, nothing will be able to fight them. Blizzard has also made it abundantly clear they don't like having combo decks in the game, so pretty much the only ways to go are aggro and control. Usually, outlawing combo decks would make control waaay too strong, considering control generally beats aggro in a balanced game, but somehow in hearthstone, outlawing combo decks has done nothing to the meta, except break those combo decks. Personally, i loathe the design philosophy Blizzard has take these past 3 years, which is print 2 and 3 health 1 drops that grow with some condition and get rid of/nerf staple control cards like Sylvanas, Ragnaros, Execute, Molten Giant, Ancient of Lore, Keeper of the Grove, Ironbeak Owl etc. The power of aggro right now is so oppressive and the huge problem with that is a lot of control classes are losing their good control cards (namely Reno, which is currently the only fight we have against aggro) and Pirate Warrior is untouched (aside from Finley). I personally think aggro should never be all that strong, because in any meta where aggro is really strong, the game stagnates. it's hard to innovate optimal face damage, but making cool combo decks that nobody has thought of before is what most people like about card games.
I may be out of touch with current standard meta as I am a Wild player and we still have Zobie Chow, Sludge Blecher, Ancient Healbot and Annoy-o-Tron, making control FAR more viable. Honestly, unless this expanison is REALLY focused on Control, I'd reccomend all of you who don't like Aggro to switch up.
Well they're adding more "support" for wild, whatever that means, so that might not be a bad idea. The only problem there is that i personally hate minion control decks like that, 1 drop that outclasses every other in the game, 5 drop who's value literally cannot be avoided, and doctor 7 still being in every deck. Honestly, i feel like every time I play wild, I'm going back to 2014 and nothing's changed. But maybe once they release some better 5 drops and 7 drops we'll have some actual deckbuilding options that aren't in the game. But that depends entirely on whether Blizzard decides to actually print cards that aren't useless at those costs. Might be good to see them react to the meta and design a couple cards to specifically work with new decks that are in the meta at the time, but this is Blizzard so my expectations aren't too high.
Jade's killed control. I wouldn't say murlocs did as they aren't even the best aggro...
Imagine the possibilities of this card combining with the Finja package, however i miss the good old combo days
There is nothing gentle about promoting the spread of cancer. First it was pirates now it will B murlocks. Y does one tribe always have 2 B the source of cancer in each expansion?
Why can you not be bothered to type e on the end of be, its a single letter, also i feel like murlocs wont be that cancer...
Might work in a Curator murloc deck, has OK arena stats

Gentle Megasaur Seems to have interesting effects, however, you need a good board of murlocs to trigger its effects. Unless aggro/zoo murlocs becomes an archetype, this card will *probably* not be seen in constructed play.
This card is broken. 4 mana 5/4 stats is NICE and this adept is INSANE. I hope Blizzard nerf it soon and make it 5 or 6 mana otherwise cancer shit will win again.
Note that a 5/4 for 4 isn't that great. That's bare minimum stats for a 4-drop nowadays. Secondly, this is a beast in a murloc deck, which hurts it's consistency. Sure, if you have a perfect game where you curve 3 murlocs into this, it does pretty much seal their fate but if you curved out 3 murlocs and the enemy hasn't answered any of them by turn 4, chances are you'd win anyways. Personally, I'd almost always prefer a Murloc Warleader over this.If a full murloc deck comes out, not like the Anyfin Paladins who only play 6 or 7 murlocs, I could see this being an addition if they're missing a few slots in the deck. Otherwise, I doubt this will see any play.
4/5 for 4 isn't bear minimum it's the best you can do for 4, any stats higher are conditional. So already it's okay by itself. Now if murloc decks are good enough remains to be seen because this by itself won't be enough with anyfin rotating.
But this doesn't compete with warleader since it's 4 mana and many adapt buffs are situationally much better or as good as +2/+1, and adapts are attached permanen unlike warleaders aura. So play both. EZ
5/4 is worse than 4/5 tho
4 mana 5/4 is not great stats, the difference between 4 and 5 health is fairly significant. Regardless, this does not fit the play style of murlocks. In Murlocks you play mostly 1 and 2 drops which buff each other. It's extremely fast, so you have to have a consistent opening hand. A 4 drop beast in your opening hand will make you lose because it's one less active card to play in the early game. It doesn't fit into menagerie decks because to get any value you need several murlocks on board, not one or two, which would be unlikely. I personally love this card, it seems underpowered( only knowing the cards in the current expansions) but has a cool theme. I hope this inspires tribal decks that play for value, instead of try to win by turn 5. If they support slower Murlock decks, this could be good, if not, it will literally see no play.
it looks interesting, but I still wonder how much play it'll actually see in Murloc decks.
where's the source for this card? i havent seen it anywhere but here. and its not on the official hearthstone facebook or twitter. where they normally reveal cards
Again I checked I can't see it ANYWHERE. Only place is here
I wish Blizztards would stop making cancerous cards like this for promoting more aggro decks. We have had enough aggro in the last expansion we DON'T need anymore more in the next. The next expansion will be filled with nothing but cancer locks, anyfun cancer can happen, and every cancer is awesome decks to competently dominate the next meta.
