No, it's actually not. 5 or 6 attack can be pretty huge. You can't destroy a 3/6 with Pit Fighter while Corrupted Healbot can. This is actually huge when the enemy plays an Water Elemental or the Dragon Taunt. Healing the enemy for 8 is often absolutely irrelevant.

Great card in arena. Could see some use in constructed, the same way Chillwind Yeti still sees play. They are solid cards with solid stats.

Anyone actually trying this card?

No one seems to have said anything about it...

It's absolutely bonkers in Arena. In constructed, it doesn't combo with anything, doesn't do anything the turn it's played and is considered just too slow. Sad, but yeah...most people would rather play Azure Drake over this, simply because of the card draw.

Gold Card Animation for Pit Fighter is totally Draven from League of Legends.

I don't know that any vanilla card is going to see constructed play that doesn't say "mech" on it, but this might be it given how strong it is compared to basically every other constructed 5 drop and many 6-drops. Regardless, this just became probably the highest pick common 5-drop for almost every hero in the arena.

Could this be a new baseline for 5-drops?

A "5-drop" doesn't necessarily mean 5/6 5-drop, and "baseline" doesn't necessarily mean other 5-drops must be powercreeps over this. "Baseline" is more about measuring the quality of a card, given it's already a very solid choice in arena, just like Chillwind Yeti is the baseline for 4-drops.

Turns out that there are a lot of 5 health minion on 5 or eve 6 mana. And most of them, this minion can trade into and survive. Also, It's impossible to take it out without a removal spell unless you're a mage with Fireball.

Who knows. This might actually be the magic number for constructed.
