Swingy card, but dangerous given there's no discard synergy right now, so it really could hit anything.

I think it's mainly a zoolock card.

It's not often Blizzard prints a discard card that offers a really, really compelling reward for the discard. (Other than Doomguard, but that card ended games, so it circumvents its own downside.) This, however, is one such card.

the potential downside is minimal for a 6/6 for 5 tribal, the potential synergies make it even more appealing

Uh, this is... weird. I guess they didn't want to support existing Warlock archetypes, so now they're going back to the discard strategy. This could be good if the only card in your hand is Hand of Gul'dan, but that's rotating. It's also weird because it doesn't specify a cost, which most discard cards do these days.

So in effect, this is an overstated card with a beneficial but highly situational effect. With a discard requirement. Which to me reads aggro card.  But is that type of aggro discard lock even good these days?

I imagine whatever other cards Warlock gets will support discarding, so we'll see. Maybe if there's a card that's like "If a card is discarded, discard this card from your hand" or something. Or have I been playing too much Yu-Gi-Oh? 

6/6 for 5 overstated? If I remember correctly, it's not 2018 anymore...

5/6 for 5 isn't even common. Like...stats to mana cost literally have never changed. Just become more common or been attached to beneficial effects.

Granted 6/6 for 5 isn't particularly exciting and doesn't really trade that well, but it IS overstated.

As a warlock player this card sucks! Why do game designers create stupid cards??

Not enough discard synergy to be worth it. If it had conditional discard it would be much better. I think it's unplayable now.

Could see this getting nerfed if discard synergies are strong enough. This card’s discard weakness isn’t really counteracting how powerful of a card this is
