Interesiting that its called crowd roaster when it would be horrible against swarm decks.

It's good for taking down that ONE asshole in the crowd whose annoying everyone and won't shut up. 

Crowd Roaster is definitely one of the better neutrals in this set. If we reword the text on the card just a little, we can sort of see this card being a 7/4 minion with divine shield and rush, similar to Argent Commander. You basically get almost double the damage, and almost double the stats on the body for just 1 additional mana. Now I realize Argent Commander doesn't see too much play outside of even decks, but this is surprisingly a much better deal that it's pushed enough to see some play. Add on the fact that it's also a dragon - a good creature type - and you got a nice 7 mana card that's going to net you a 2-for-1 most games.

And while something like Vilespine Slayer is more powerful due to the unrestricted nature of the card, I feel like Crowd Roaster is a pretty damn close comparison, and any class that supports dragons can play it. People might complain about the 7/4 body, but that's certainly better than a 3/4 Vilespine. Your basically getting 4 more stats while not being able to target 8+ health minions, minions with divine shield, etc. Don't get me wrong - Vilespine is better - but they are similar cards as Vilespine is often not played turn 5 anyway.

I hope this is a usable card. I love the name and graphic.

This is amazing control tool. I like the effect and stats on this card, it is better than rush, maybe even better than charge, but it is conditional. But whenever we have a dragon with dragon synergy it ends up good.

For some reason i readed this card as a 7 mana 7/7 deal 7 dmg and voted it as "Meta-defining!".

It's a decent dragon. Powerful but situational Battlecry, though weak stat distribution.

It's also a common card, which is nice to know from a financial point - if you wan to try a decent dragon deck, it's not going to cost you a lot^^

Well, it's a dragon and removal in one. 4 health makes it balanced but still pretty good as removal. I know that we all do think about warriors and priests but this can be also comboed with Jaina's hero power to remove 8 health minions and spawn an elemental however dragon mage might be more of wild deck.

Well, the last and this expansion we get a lot of minions with 7-health and even mechanics around it with Star Aligner. This card is “a tech” around 7-health minions and disruptor of the Star Aligner combo.

Very, very solid. I can see this sometimes being run as part of a "dragon package" in decks that can support it. Pretty weak on the flavor though. If you're holding a dragon is fair enough but a crowd roaster dealing single target damage is strange.

I wonder if a dragon priest going to come back. Although it is not very likely since they have only 2 cards that benefit from dragons, and other dragons that he has are kind of bulky

I think it's a pretty good card. It will definitely see play in standard dragon decks (if they become viable)
