Talk about the reno synergy: Thekal + Reno = plenty of armor and health! Unfortunately might be too slow to pull off that combo in wild, but we'll see.

But what happens if you play Time Out! first?

Does "convert" bypass immunity, or do you gain all but 1 of your health in armour?

Immune mechanic works in terms of damage, but can get affected by any other effect. For example, if a Spider Bomb gets killed, and it's deathrattle lands on an immune minion, that minion dies.

As this card's text says "convert", there's no damage involved and should remove your health even with Time Out! effect. For it to work it should have a similar wording to Crystallizer.

Yeah, Crystallizer came to mind as well, although you could reason that the wording on Time Out! is the way it is, since Crystallizer would behave differently if you had armour before you played it.

Though you're most likely right, and this is just wishful thinking for control pally:)

There is no synergy with Spirit of the Shark, the second trigger would do nothing ("Convert all health but 1" so it would convert 0 health into armor)
