A fun fact: If you overkill the face, it will summon a 5/5 Devilsaur as well. 

I'm not saying that the rarity of this card would have a strong influence with the amount of spell hunters that use it, but come on, Blizzard, this shouldn't be a common card.

The card is common, but the steak is rare.

I like this card because it's defiant. It looks simple but is really easy to misjudge – both as too strong and as too weak.

On first glance: 5 mana 5/5 deal 3 damage!! OP!!

On second glance: Wait, it's dead in your hand if there's no target... minions played turns 3-5 have more than 2 health... DUST!!

In reality: This card is strongest for finishing off minions that survived a trade. Hunter doesn't really like trading very much; when it has minions it likes to go face, Deathstalker Rexxar notwithstanding. Counterintuitively, that's exactly why this card works in Hunter. The punishment for not trading is giving your opponent favorable trades. This card mega-punishes favorable trades because minions that survived a trade will more often than not become targets for this card. And of course, in a pinch, it's 3 burn.

Conclusion: Odd Hunter staple and solid Arena card.

Oh yeah, and since nobody else has said it yet:

Decent card. Bane of Doom for Hunter. Possibly a Flanking Strike for Odd Hunter. Possibly a fit in Spell Hunter.

We have Flanking Strike, why do we want to play this? 2 mana for 2/2 extra stats? Nah, can target on face but, why do you want to go face with DK Hunter right now?

It's like a more consistent Bane of Doom, or perhaps a beefier Stormpike Commando. Not bad in Arena.

think of it like a stampeding kodo but with 2 hp or less minions, should be great in arena. despite its flaws

I would say this isn't as good as Flanking Strike. I don't like to think of it as a 5 mana 5/5 Battlecry: Deal 3 damage. I think it's better we thinking of it is a 5 mana 5/5 Battlecry: "Deal 2 damage to a minion." Remember that it needs to do excess damage in order to summon the dino boi.

Although this can go face, so SMOrclings will run it.

This card is basically 5 drop with battlecry "deal 3 damage" that can be played in spell hunter. Sounds playable to me.

This is so wrong. This cards costs 5 mana and needs to deal excess damage in order to summon the devilsaur. By turn 5, your opponent will have minions with more than 2 health, if not, they are probably playing aggro and this card is dead against fast decks.

I really don't get how people can say that this is anywhere near playable. Especially the argument "it's a consistent Bane of Doom"

Yes it is, that's why it sucks. The only reason you would ever even consider Bane of Doom is because there's the possibility to get a really busted Demon out of it. If Bane of Doom summoned a 5/5 it wouldn't see play either, because the result is just mediocre at best.

It's an okay Arena card and it might be useful when you get it from Rhok'Delar, but other than that you just play Flanking Strike for actual value.

Yep, I don't see myself playing this in my spell hunter deck.
