1 star now and forever. if you wanted to disrupt combos, there are better tools both in neutral and in warlock
Just scroll down, man
you'll take your "random" spell and LIKE it
So basically it does the same thing as Demonic Project in terms of destroying combo pieces from your opponent, but it costs 4 times more mana and destroys half your deck in the process... Still voted meta-defining by the community xD
I don't think the math supports the assertion that this is "the same thing as Demonic Project" with regard to combo opponents. Drawn in the first half of the game, it's WAY more likely to burn combo pieces than Demonic Project is.
Hm not really, because you can use Demonic Project on the turn you think your opponent has assembled his combo, and have a lot of changes to hit the right card. After a Druid played Florist for example, or after a Shudderwock Shaman played Grumble/Saronites (more random but still more likely to hit than Void Contract in my opinion), or when Priest has only 5 cards left in hand. Any Meca'thun deck in general gets rekt more efficiently by Project. Quest Druid and Quest Mage too (not that they are really present in ladder, but we're talking theorical combo destruction power right).
I don't really see any combo deck for which Contract would be better. Maybe Kingsbane since it's not a minion ? But then it's a lot better to just play the Ooze + Gnomeferatu combo, because these cards are good in a Control Warlock anyway, unlike a 8 mana spell that does ONLY that.
That's valid. I think either way it's tough to analyze from a distance. I'd be interested to see some stats on it once it starts seeing play.
I've already crafted Bloodbloom, the first chance I get to reck someone deck, I'm doing it!! Wish I could see their face when half their deck is gone before 8 mana crystals!!
I'm going to run two copies to destroy both halves.
You right
“When I’m done, half of your deck will still exist. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.”
Did you do it?
Yes...
What did it cost?
8 mana.
All I see while looking on this is Kibler's face when he gets this from Academic Espionage
good against combo/OTK. we really need dirty rat back in standard.
doesn't Warlock already have a solution to this? Wish some deck manipulation went to priest. add five wisps to each player's deck or something.
Can't wait to play this turn two Bloodbloom
and then die cuz i lost 8 health
I dont see this on turn 8 you want to remove a board, maybe play a lich king. not something that does something to both decks and end turn. You know if u draw this too late its just garbage and u might destroy Guldan, Voidlord and other important tools to stall and win the game. Idk i dont see this card as even playable. Maybe in a Mechathun but its situational.
Huh? It's an anti-combo tool. You can't "stall and win the game" against a combo deck - your only hope is to beat them first or burn their combo pieces.
