This card would be perfect if they just made it 4 mana 7/7.
Stealth
After your opponent plays a minion, become a copy of it
0/10
After your opponent plays a minion, summon a copy of it to your side.
a bit better?
It would be, but it'd have to be a hell of a lot weaker than 5/6.
Such a good card art, a shame the card is just a bad version of Mirror Entity.
So it’s like the opposite of a legendary ?
of coarse I got it golden as free legendary for preorder lol....
Got the Golden rite here as my free ledgendary.....I FEEL YOU BROTHER! The quickest dust in history......3.......2.......1........DONE!
So this is the first legendary i will get in this xpack...
The Boogeymonster of the expansion.
So THIS is the counter to Spell Hunter, a 4 mana 5-6 xD
Deadly Shot
"Greetings, traveller."
The strength in this card isn't going to be getting a copy of a monster minion your opponent played, the strength lies in utterly jacking up your opponent's curve, especially in the late game. They won't want to play a valuable minion and give you a copy, so it forces them to use resources to remove this guy, use resources on playing a low value minion, if they even have one in hand, or deal with an over-statted minion on turn 4. I see this as more of a stalling/disruption mechanic than a stealing mechanic.
The designers are all about creating scenarios that lead to interesting choices. Not only will you have to make some interesting choices about when/how to play this, but it forces your opponent to make some interesting ones to react to it as well. I'm not saying it is strong, weak, will see play or won't, I am saying it is an interesting design.
lol u clearly didnt read the post
The problem isn't in the design of this card. It's interesting and original, and that's great, even if the card is bad.
The problem is that you can open this card in packs. Now you have a really shitty choice to make: Dust it and take the risk of opening it up in a pack again, or just keep it so you get better legendaries in the future.
Also, there is no interesting way to build a deck around this card, much like Millhouse Manastorm. There is no crazy combo you can try to pull off using this card because of its unique effect, because it doesn't react to your actions, but your opponent's. Lorewalker Cho, opens up a lot of options for combos if you use it with other cards like Azalina Soulthief, which is of the only universal way to duplicate any spell with any class.
Play Giggling Inventor in response, problem solved. And since Giggling is an auto-include in every deck, you don't even need to tech against this thing.
THE END IS COMING!!
So... a 4 mana neutral Mirror Entity, except your opponent knows what secret it is and it's legendary. Pass.
The original text was probably something along the lines of "whenever your opponent plays a minion, transform into a copy of it with this card text" and then they were like "too OP" and then gave it stealth and this shitty text instead.
If they made it like that, then it'd show a bit more potential. However, as it stands, it's borderline unplayable in anything.
Spell-hunter counter hype!
A Faceless Manipulator that your opponent choose the target for you lol
