Eh, this card is probably clunky to use. You would want to use the damage effectively, but once you can trigger the deathrattle. You might end up throwing something out off curve when you can make use of the effect.
It curves really well into this card:
This is true, but what I am saying is that you typically want to make effective board use of the damage on the weapon. So if you don't have a reason to apply that damage (even if face is always an option), it could mean throwing Blightnozzle Crawler down on turn 5 rather than 4 for example. This essentially is why I say it is a clunky weapon to make use of correctly. Though there is definitely room for it to shine with Carnivorous Cube without question.
The only time I see people equipping the weapon turn 3 in the first place is against aggressive, board - filling decks. And if that is the case, then you will nearly always have a target to kill with three or less health on turn 3 & 4. the turn 4 crawler + rush poison + weapon hit will probably give you control of the board back on turn 4, and is a great setup for future turns.
If you are playing against a slower, more control oriented deck then you probably won't want or need to play the weapon on turn 3, nor will you need to get immediate value from the crawler death rattle on turn 4, so the issue of playing these cards off curve are really nonexistent, because you either play them exactly on curve, or wait until mid to late game to get value from them.
Dibullba: I agree with both your statements. It can be clunky sometimes yes, but i guess the potencial upside makes up for that. Keep in mind rogues can play cube, the weapon and then hero power in the same turn to get the effect instantly.
Mid range Deathrattle rogue has all the tools to be a thing in this next expansion.
I did think of something pretty funny though with Carnivorous Cube. With the cards that Rogue has now in which they can do Myra's Unstable Element. Following turn you then play Carnivorous Cube and two Lab Recruiters. Then just play Cube to eat Cube constantly.... you now have Patron 2.0. I am so tempted to make such a deck just to submit to Trollden XD
Activation for Blightnozzle Crawler and Spellstone. This is a great card that could fit in a deck. I also foresee complicated Malygos shenanigans.
Generally poisons work better when they're on the outside of the weapon, but I guess Myra knows what she's doing.
It'll be like a sort of evil syringe that spreads deathly venom into the bones of her opponents
That's why it's a deathrattle: To release the necrium the dagger needs to break. gj Myra.
