This card just feels kinda useless, control paladin's problem was never healing, and giving more healing to a class that already has it doesn't make it better. This is why new heal cards in priest aren't very good.
I like the flavor of the card, but unless "healing" means doing "damage". This just ends up being dust. This literally just has Lifesteal and the flavor text added so it won't be Shielded Minibot 2.0
isn't that good for me. healing paladin isn't really a thing for one simple reason, if you are full HP your entire deck lose his purpose. Also in a Blackguard deck often you don't want massive healing but small ones, same with the Pearl Spellstone (that is a good early card but is almost impossible to use it early and late game is mediocre). Plus lately all the most successfull paladin deck (for the last 5 expansions) are agro/aggressive.
P.S. he isn't even a mech, paladin should be one of the mech class and untill now, out off 5 card only one is a mech (and one spell with mech synergy)
Finally some healing synergy for paladins! I do not know if that will make Standard deck viable but I am pretty excited to pull this off in Wild.
Heallo, heallo, heallo
I love this card as a standalone card, it's pretty nice! But it makes me want to build a healing synergy deck with this, the Pearl Spellstone, Blackguard, and The Glass Knight, but the way overhealing works right now is a problem for the archetype... The more healing cards you have the worse they get, because you can just cap out at full health and they get no value. I wish they'd make it work the same way overkill damage does, or give Paladin a way to swap health for armor or something like that, or an early weapon that isn't Light's Justice. Something to reliably take damage so there's something to actually heal.
This dude would go really well in a Galvadon Deck. Draw him and Lynessa with Crystology, buff him, heal up, play Lynessa later. Sign me up!
It should had been 2/2 atleast as it is after all a legendary and being little more stated wouldnt hurt considering how broken the druid one is
Solid card, good 2-drop. Maybe with this we'll see paladin's spellstones in play.
Scorp-o-matic Kappa
This might be an auto-include in all paladin decks!
especially in Odd Paladin :)
