But that on also gets a minion for your opponent which can backfire sometimes.
that puts the minion into the battlefield whereas this one summons a COPY. big distinction
I did not realize that it was a copy, this card is absolutely busted
Electra into eureka on most 5+ is value, go 6+ it pays for itself, 7+ is the true power of the card.
Lich king, ysera, malygos, etc
This is typical blizzard. Create some new archetypes (Mechs, Battlecry Shaman, Overload Giants, Elemental) and then make a Shaman card that has NOTHING to do with any of them. This could be a good card with the right tools, but I just want some generally good spells from Hagaha, and this isn’t it.
Edit: This should summon a 5/5 copy like Shadow Essence because it’ll be very easy to pull a low cost minion with this.
Or you could be an intelligent person and not run this in a deck that you can't reliably hit a good target with this in.
Did you read what he said? He said he didnt want to get this card from hagatha...
affects overload
How?
You messed up -- This way around Eureka! might summon you Electra instead of Maly.
Better play Electra, then Eureka! for a pair of Malys and then LB for a measly 13 dmg.
Yeah, if you want combo Shaman just play Shudderwock, if you want Malygos combo just play druid.
The real question is 5 more spell damage worth more than 3 more mana to actually deal damage with spells?
It's not tbh. This will be a great combo in wild where you can have Thaurissan reduce the cost of a few cards but in standard electra only hinders your potential.
Also something worth noting is that you can use a copy of Eureka to summon maly to boost a Lightning Storm if you really need to.
Sounds fun. Maybe some Big Shaman with new elemental legendary? Summoning 2 additional giants would be pretty sweet.
