Actually it won't because the fact that you are attacking the minion you want to trade into something is still weird :)
How could this card be bad, this has a potential to kill two big minions in one swing and you can do it 2 more times. Only cost 5 mana and you only play it when big minions comes out. also you can attack the one next to the minion and combo with execution.
This card is (or looks) bad because Brawl is a card.
You can't control result of brawl but you got some control on this weapon AND you can use it 3 times.
You can't really control the result of Supercollider either. Say the middle minion is a Taunt (which is how your opponent would play around it), it's a 50/50 it will hit what you want. Also, Brawl copes much better with larger boards and always has a chance for a very positive outcome as long as you have at least one minion. Aaaaalso Brawl doesn't require you taking face damage for up to three times.
I will admit that Supercollider is much better in scenarios with small amounts of smaller minions or niche ones with just two big minions on board. Eitherways, I'm still convinced Warrior decks won't cut even a single Brawl out for Supercollider, and I give you the right to come back into this page and get into my face if I'm very wrong.
Honestly I didn't expect it to be so much better that it will replace Brawl. However in odd warrior deck the power level of this card is high enough to switch out with other cards. I can see that it's a possiblity that both Brawl and Supercollider can be seen in same Odd Warrior deck.
I was thinking similarly. It would see experiment in the first few weeks, maybe replacing an Ironbeak Owl or something a little less relevant. Then about 2 weeks after, it will either see consistent play in some lists or no play at all.
luckily you were wrong - Supercollider is the best card in odd warrior lists and has a 10% higher "WR when played" than Brawl (according to hsreplay)
Ice Breaker paint job!
Maybe worth running one copy of it, cause warrior always struggled if opponent played 2 big minions, so with that weapon u can remove both and dont have to play brawl. Nevertheless weapon is meta dependent
But Betrayal the attacking minion doesnt take damage. This weapon make them kill eachother BOTH.
Great! Another weapon 4 pirate warrior 2 use in wild 4 avoiding hitting your taunt minions with.
I dont get it... u attack a minion in the middle, then it will attack one of its neighbors randomly? wtf y no1 explained this already?
It's the same effect as Sudden Betrayal, which itself is similar to other cards, it hasn't been explained as the effect is quite clear and there is a precedent of it existing.
I hardly know her!
love the sassy response
at least it's another toy for odd warrior i guess..?
May I ask, why are you starting a discussion in a forum about blizzards balancing if
When I saw the art for this card I thought it was a new Shaman weapon called the Boom Hammer and i'm disappointed they wasted that pun.
Still, card looks good and might be fun.
Wait this is actually like Sudden Betrayal but on a weapon rather than a secret....
