and im guessing youre an asshole. i emphasized the difference between them, meaning its not strictly better if this copy condition is restricted.
let's be honest, that's not saying a whole lot
Curves into Black Cat and combos with Book of Specters
Except why are you running black cat in a deck with 3 cards that cost 2
oops, you're right
[Deleted comment because I see what you were going for now if not for the whole 2 is an even number thing]
Vex Crow looks better with each good/decent 2-cost card in rotation...
I'm a little scared
I really like the art direction in this set...but this illustration is just...ugh. :(
The art is awesome! What's your problem
only 2 mana? really nibba
So, the card is for sure one of the best legendary we've seen in this set. It will be competitive, strong, playable all of those. BUT they are killing the image of Jaina that is written in our minds. They will make us play less spells. Spells are fun Blizzard, spells are fun and you've said it for yourselves!
Arugal is one of the most iconic mages though, it's good to see that his card will see play.
Tess is by far the best card in the set, quite possibly one of the best ever made by Blizzard. At 8 mana its both Yogg and N'zoth. This is a playable version of Chromagus. It makes elemental mage better, but not much else. The problem is that this is weak to aggro decks (mage minions tend to be fairly weak) and bad against control due to any otk now that ice block rotated into the Hall of Fame. This card would be broken in any other class. Mage just might be the weakest standard constructed class, but the strongest class in arena come the 12th.
I think saying Mage is the weakest in Constructed with the rotation/Hall of Fame is a little bit much. There has always been a competitive Mage deck no matter the expansion. It definitely seems that they are running out of archetypes though. They may be forced into very few options, where previously, Mage always had Freeze Mage to fall back onto no matter the expansion, barring the rotations.
In wild, in Reno Jackson decks to be twice as rich :D
Found the pic you used, what do I win?
This artwork is actually so much better than the original. :D
Playing this card and the new Countess Ashmore on the same turn is some crazy 9 mana draw 6 cards with decent bodies to go with it
