It's never enough until it's too much. See: Priest
Guess control warrior will have to stick with Gorehowl. Maybe Arathi Weaponsmith if they really want that early game weapon.
I really can't see this card working out, at least for now. The best case scenario is probably revealing a Gorehowl to deal 7 to everything for 6 mana, which is pretty good, but not insane. Warrior already has so many board clear options and it's the least of their problems currently, and if you draw the Gorehowl before playing this card then it becomes significantly worse, or even useless. You can't even afford to play Bloodrazer since 2 to everything for 6 mana won't cut it.
Blade Flurry was much more proactive. First, you get to attack with your weapon and set up higher Health minions and secondly, you got to buff your weapon, sometimes to make insanely high damage clears that mine as well be a better Elemental Destruction. You’re also forced to restrict the weapons you put in your deck (Obviously not bad ones) where Flurry did not. You could even get away with just your hero power.
This even has anti-synergy with Forge of Souls, which is a shame.
The card design seems to be as old of a concept as the artwork is & it would still B trash even then.
Big Spell Mage > Big Weapon Warrior
Bladed Gauntlet loses use. Sadly :-(
When revealed, will it always show 0 attack, or match up with your armor... while in your deck?
I think it will always show 0 attack, because when you hold it in your hand the attack number is 0, rather than a green number equal to your armor. I believe in deck it's the same - no update until in play.
But still, if somehow it does have updated attack when revealed from deck, then it's a sweet synergy.
Wow! I have completely forgotten about that card.
this is an april fools D&D art is used
I thought the same thing here... is it really real ?
Sadly makes early game weapons obsolete. And this is one case where 'All minions' is definitely a con. Unless theres another weapon revealed alongside Woodcutter's Axe I don't think Arcanite Reaper and Gorehowl can make this work.
weapon version of dragons breath. which is seriously less good as the damage of the warrior weapons aren't that high bloodrazor 2 damage AoE for 6 mana? sounds like a BLizzard that hits your own stuff too. idk if this is enough to put in cards like the arcanite reaper into your deck or the gorehowl, why play this card when brawl is 5 mana, cares not for how strong a card is and effectively clears the board leaving one minion up which you can either shield slam or execute if it's big.
this is a bad card, the card everyone has pretty much forgotten was shield shatter i think it was called? was a much bigger AoE potential for roughly the same cost i recall and just required you having armor, and as a warrior having around 10 armor on average is very easy, was also a card that required other cards to make it viable or contunous use of the hero power. never saw much play.
This card will not see play same reason shatter shield didn't see play.
Now if this was a rogue card, ya'll know this would be broken like no tomorrow, sounds silly but think about how easy it is for a rogue to buff their weapon and shuffle it back into their deck then redraw it. In rogue this card would be on average a 6 mana deal 7+ AoE damage which is great.
If not the word "All" that would be great standard card. It might still be good in Wild though.
That will have great synergy...IN WILD!!
Isn't Gorehowl a Classic?
yes. you can play classic cards in wild.
Reckless Doomerang: Borrow a weapon from you deck and throw it at everyone
Man what the hell, first warrior gets a worse Defile in Warpath, now they get a worse Dragon's Fury. You literally have to play at least 3 high attack weapons in Arcanite Reaper and Gorehowl with it, good luck actually using them. And better yet, this card is useless if you draw them, so you absolutely have to run Dead Man's hand, which is also useless.
Stop beating a dead dog Blizzard, control warrior needs better cards and should not be paying for the sins of Dragons and Pirates.
