This just goes to show how OP loatheb is. Loatheb is a 5 mana 5/5 with this ability as a neutral card. Class cards are to be stronger than neutrals and while this is a spell it would still cost more if it were neutral. So Loatheb is at least 7 mana worth of stats and abilities but probably more like 8.
However, this is still a 2 mana spell with the Loatheb impact. Many times Loatheb was used solely for its ability to prevent spells from being jammed the turn before you finish off your opponent and as a 1 of it was still extremely effective at doing so. Loatheb was everywhere, in every deck and every archetype because it was a solid body with one of the strongest abilities in the game. I believe this will still see play as a 1 of and maybe a 2 of in aggressive decks that want to keep their board going into a buff/kill turn. There is also potential that this will see play in combo oriented decks where you have board control and can lay out a combo piece and then Rebuke the opponent so you can combo off on the following turn. I believe this card will see a lot of play testing and even if the meta isn't right for it to see much play it still appears to be a very strong card with lots of implications for deck building. Very Nice.

Yes exactly in this order!
Bad Mage! Stop trying to play the game!
This will obliterate Spell Hunter, if that's still a thing in new meta.
