Unless that deck gets a RIDICULOUS amount of support, it wont stand up to other decks. Cubelock, Rinlock, elemental decks, spiteful priest, spell hunter, and almost every deck that will still exist after the rotation beats them. Also, I looked at some tier lists and enrage warrior is SO bad it doesn't even show up as tier 4.
This seems kinda bad.
This does for 10 mana what Priest does for 6.
But still, that's only if you choose to play it all at 10 mana. The card seems very flexible, and you can play it early on to deal maybe 2 damage to an Aggro deck's board. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet.
But at least Grim Patron Warrior decks will have a cool toy in wild.
At least for standard, Dragonfire Potion is rotating out. Add the fact that we now know that the copies stay in hand rather than disappearing, it can be a lot better.
Where did you see this? Every place I see the keyword's description, it says it disappears at the end of the turn.
Peter Whalen mentioned it in the stream. Check approx 52:15 as a timestamp
The Echo mechanic makes me wish mana costs could be fractions.
At 2 mana this seems pretty bad to use multiple times. Once is an expensive Whirlwind, twice is a Blood Razor with no weapon, 3 times is an expensive Hellfire, 4 times or 5 times are expensive Dragonfire Potions.
But at one mana, this would be a strictly better whirlwind and more efficient than other board clears.
I really wish this could be 1.5 mana, so you could cast it up to 6 times and it would be more efficient.
Or be 3 mana for 1 damage, twice.
I see where you're coming from; but it's a good card imo. just you wait
If Hellfire and Flamestrike had an inefficient baby
2 Mana, deal 1 damage to all minions seems to be very inefficient. You cannot really trigger Rotface, Frothing Berserker or Val'kyr Soulclaimer since the mana costs for this combo is way to high. Also your board takes damage too, so triggering Frothing Berserker in round 7 2x, you may have a 10/2 minion, but you cant make use of it, since a 2 life minion on board at round 6/7 is nothing. Also your minion will get killed by nearly every aoe and you still need two cards for a comb, which still isn't worth it. Guess every player who plays a lot of warrior knows that there need to be way more synergy to use a card like that...
ANOTHER Whirlwind effect come on... same concept over and over since closed beta. Let me guess: COMBO with Acolyte of Pain.
Good against aggro, Combo potential. I mean... Its playable, but cmon guys. Warrior has a lot of playable cards, but that doesnt make Warrior playable.
As I can see, This warrior will be weak against tempo and Attrition.
2 mana Whirlwind, 4 mana Consecration that hurts your guys, etc, etc. Sounds OK, It's no Defile but warriors are masochists and cards like Acolyte of Pain, Frothing Berserker and Rotface love being hit multiple times.
Have to see what else Warrior gets, at the moment they are trash so I don't see this card bringing them back on its own.
This is the card that make all the Paladin cry. It counter every move they make lol. Even turn 8 Tirion on an empty board now can be answered with this card + execute at 8 mana too, the thing warrior couldnt do before
Paladin still gets the 5/3 weapon which is arguably better than the body itself....
Even Boi Sinergy
Holy balls I'm in love.
I'd say the main purpose is not for board clear, but rather to buff up your Frothing Berserker, draw from Acolyte of Pain, and even get value off of cards such as Rotface and Val'kyr Soulclaimer.
Based on this, I think the card will actually be quite powerful, and probably see at least a little play.
