This was never obvious until they confirmed that Zerus changes on your turns.
Why would Blizz make a card that transforms in your hand if you can't use the transformation? You just have to think about it for a couple of seconds to realise how it's supposed to work.
Are you idiot? They talked so many times about "understandable wording" and now they continue with it and you calling it obvious? Its you who need to think about maybe for hours that blizzard still continue doing bad wording which sometimes people like you call "obvious".
I understand the wording could be confusing with cards like Shifter Zerus, Shifting Scroll and Molten Blade because they can transform into multiple things.
This card, on the other hand, only has two forms, a 2/4 and a 4/2. I ask again. Why would Blizz make a card with only two transformations change on each players turn? You'd only ever be able to play the 2/4. Using this simple logic you'd quickly come to the conclusion that this must mean it only changes on your turns, otherwise what's the point of making it transform?
I agree it's not written very well and these transforming cards should be changed to something like: "at the end of your turn, if this card is in your hand, transform it into ........" but its really not that hard to get your head around them. Even if you're a new player if you just used the cards you'd see how they work.
I feel like this is going to be more frustrating than anything.
If you need the 4 attack minion (against priest for instance), you can only play this half the time. Which is very likely to be a poor time to play this due to board state/interacting with the opponent.
