Let's put it this way... if you're still working on your quest by turn 9, you need to get better acquainted with the "concede" button.

Using it as a taunt wall after completing the quest could be powerful, yes, but then again Saronite Chain Gang exists and you should be aiming to win way earlier than turn 9 anyway.

Summoning Portal into Phantom Militia is really nice, can be 12/28 total for 10 mana from only 2 cards

Flexibility and versatility. Very useful card no matter the point of the game it's drawn. Not the worst late game top deck. Good card.

Shaman on turn 3:

Cast Far Sight > Draw Phantom Militia > Win?

Cards like Lunar Visions, Emperor Thaurissan or Bright-Eyed Scout change the cost of the first Phantom Militia you play. For it to work on every copy you would need an Ongoing Effect like Summoning Portal, Aviana or even Mana Wraith. Same goes with buffs.

Cause Nzoth is gonna be out. Thus for 10 mana this will be the closest it can have to fill the board with 6 taunts. Sure its not the same as voidlords but usualky u would get 1 or 2 voidlords and the rest would be some voidwalkers and mistress so this can be consistent as an alternative
