Loatheb was added in the Curse of Naxxramas Adventure. He is available from Wing 2 - The Plague Quarter which opened on July 29th, 2014, and is obtained after defeating the adventure boss Loatheb.

Just played this against a miracle rogue when they had their auctioneer out ready to go all miracle on me next turn.
Dropped this guy - instant rage quit. Such sweet sweet tears.
Not being able to silence it either.... I can't see this card remaining in its current form, it's just too good.
Turn 5 Loatheb, Turn 6 attack - Reincarnate, Turn 7 attack. locked out for at least 2 of the opponents' rounds. Would be amazing in a crusher shaman deck with Ancestral Sprit.
Right. It's still good in crusher, though. Play him after you get a giant board, just to ensure they must use minions to go through your taunt walls.
This card is going to be fun to play with.
1) 'Cause it was so challenging to burst?
2) "Just play your minions" wont be a thing, this is just boosting tempo decks, which to quote Jotto, "One of the funnest match ups you'll ever have."
Naturalize is not the only spell to kill it on the next turn. Starfall Fireball Shadow Word: Death Assassinate ...
You said only "next turn." You never said that Loatheb would've been played on turn five.
Don't forget about Lava Burst!
this card is amazing it will fit almost every control deck simple because it is a 5 cost for a 5/5 with a really good battlecry it is like the pre nerfed version of sylvannas you dont lose any value from playing this card you only gain from it.
The flavour text should be "Don't play Rogue".
It looks good on the paper but we will see how is it gonna shake the meta If ever.
Really like this card in theory. Can't wait to see it in-game.
Is there a spell other than Naturalize that can kill it when it comes out in turn 5-6?
turn 6 assassinate for rogues, deadly shot for hunters, shadow word death for priests, fireball for mages, turn 6 siphon soul for locks, any damage spell+execute for warriors...
pretty sure OP was asking if spell can kill it the next turn after its played none of the spells you mentioned could be played with the +5 mana cost... on turn 5-6... as for spells that would work you could execute turn 6 if you have a minion, or weapon in play
None of those could kill it on turn 6
wonder if it stacks, loatheb-shadowstep-loatheb +10 mana cost per spell?
could backfire if the have 6+ cost spells like pyro or MC...but what are the chances of that >.>
Flamestrike? Force of Nature? In certain low mana situations, Swipe, Multi-Shot, Fireball/Polymorph, Consecration and Hammer of Wrath, Shadow Word: Death, Hex, and Kill Command. So pretty useful in my opinion.
