I think this spell is designed to help a pure frost mage keep presence on the board. Since it replaces itself in hand, it adds value, too.

Not sure if quest mage wants to run this since the second and third spell cost a lot. And this isn't big enough for big spell mage.

Just my two cents.

I might even miss watching them brain freeze  their own wand thief now.... :p

Oh it says “Build a Snowbrute” I was worried that it went infinite. What are the Snowbrute’s stats? 3/3 as well?

I went and watched the video. They are 6 mana 6/6 and that gives you a 9 mana 9/9 just like Pyros

Only issue is that now i have tougher decision to sell my nerfed quest. It might be great again

Welp. Mage is gonna feel great to play against. Im sure 2 really strong spells for spell mage wont help an already annoying and boring deck  to play against at all.   Jesus. only 2 cards for them revealed and im already hating mage.

When rares have become stronger than Legendaries.

But to be fair, Pyros was kinda garbage

Unlike Pyros, this card won't activate 'played elemental last turn' condition though, which is kind of an issue, when you rely on cards with the said condition.

But this one Freezes and is a Frost spell which you can slot into the Quest Mage, since they are lacking Frost spells. 

Fair, however it STILL really lacks synergy with elementals, Wuth Pyros you can make sure to activate this condition up to three times. Also bringing back Pyros via Kazakus's potions and such, grant you a whole lot of value. (Which then you can just discount with Leyline Manipulator) You really can't do that with this card.

I guess what'll be better for you really depends on what kind of archetype you're playing, because when you really want that big dose of elementals with Grand Finale this card won't really help you.

Pyros wasn't garbage.  When it was new, you actually sometimes won games by grind, and a big lifesteal elemental (due to Frost Lich Jaina) was solid, while also being an acceptable early play.  As well as triggering Elemental synergies.

But Pyros would certainly be absolute garbage in today's Hearthstone.
