Can we remove this card from the game before it metastasizes?
I misread this card as "costs (1) less whenever a minion from your hand dies", and already thought it had really good value. The fact that it counts minions on both sides is pretty insane, you can usually get the cost at least under 5 if not far lower on the same turn you drew it. It's like a hyper-charged version of Thing from Below minus the taunt.
At least arena won't have to deal with it being an epic, this seems like a really triggering thing to lose to during an arena run and it thankfully won't be seen as much as Bonemare
My arena deck yesterday had 2 of them. Opponent dropped one for 0, then I did. Then he Bonemareed it lol. The fact that it can be played on T7 with Bonemare is pretty crazy.
Meta defining. The Bonemare of this patch.
This card is insane in aggro decks and basically a must-have. I've noticed a huge improvement in my winrate using them in zoolock and aggro druid.
🐛In the dungeon I go deeper🐛in set reviews I was a sleeper🐛when minions die I get cheaper🐛You guessed it right🐛I'm corridor creeper🐛
This got an average rating of 'playable' bahahahahah.
I am proud that I underestimated this as merely great. Yay me!
Aww shit. Here comes a million of these things in aggro decks now.
lol I thought it was "whenever a friendly minion dies ..." this card is OP.
this card is actually meta defining
sleeper OP of the set, 0 mana 5/5 in aggro decks,0 mana 7/7, 5/5, and a 4/4 with Menagerie Magician isent all that unheard of
LUL voted as just "Playable." Yet Day 3 ESL, 3 Teams are running it.
Perfectly Balanced
i'd better run Sea Giant in hunter than this. Pretty much the same idea but better outcome.
Chillin' in the corridor
your dad is forty-four.
and he's still calling man for a draw
Let him know, when I see him, Im gonna spin his jaw!
[[Unleash the Hounds]] finally back on the menu? Might be worth just to keep in your hand if you have [[Alley Cats]] and other cheap shit that's likely to die.
It is for 'minions' that die, not just your minions.
could see play in Evolve Shaman if you think about it. The spawn a lot of tokens that usually end up dying over the course of the game. It should be pretty easy to discount this to 0 and play it on turn 6 with Doppelgangster evolve for a free 8 drop.
Then again, there's a bunch of shitty 8-drops now so I#m not sure if it'S even worth at this point
can't any slow deck with lots of draw and AOE use this? (I am looking at you handlock). Lots of minions die over the course of a game - seems like you don't need to keep this early if you are really playing handlock.
The only question is "is the potentially free 5/5 really worth a spot and the effort of holding a card that will be dead for a while?"
I don't see how this gets dismissed out of hand so easily.
Ramp druid also tends to accumulate giant hands via UI.
Bear in mind, only 4 minions need to die to make this a 3 mana 5/5. How long does it take 4 minions to die? This could even be keep-able on the mull if you have 2 other solid playable early cards.
