this is actually pretty good in a mill deck you need to use it after you burn their deck to make sure you dont burn the candles
Aren't you usually won if you already burned their deck?
Super useful against aggro decks that tends to empty their hands very quickly.
Glinda Crowskin does not give The Darkness echo. This has been confirmed to be a bug by a Blizzard employee.

It was the diamond of my mill warrior deck, but its time is over for me. RIP my old friend.
So you wanted to play an odd cost deck, eh? *throws candles*
unfortunately odd/even triggers at the start of the game, candles have no effect on it :(
Except for something like Gloom Stag
best card!
Alright hes drawn the 3rd candle! Now I can-
*Polymorph*
FF, uninstall, throws phone into sun.
You are hilarious my friend! That's why you have to summon it from hand, so do not play this card and build a deck around getting around its horrible battle cry effect. LMAO
Why is this card such a P.O.S. I made a mill rogue with it and milled one of the candles... dead card on my board. OK, I thought I will make kind of a steal cards priest and steal the candle so I can play it on my turn for an extremely unlikely 20 burst win out of no where. but I pulled it off played the candle for four mana thinking I just won the game and just draw into fatigue. So my advice is don't craft it if you have it play with it because it's kinda funny but that's it
Actually i've tried this wild fun deck

it is kind of fun seeing so many The Darkness on your Board and your opponent is not able to play any cards, simply because the animation is taking forever to finish. But as i said, it's just a fun Deck, not really competitive.

lol @ 36.9% meta-defining...that's just embarrassing
One of my favorite card artwork.
Is it worth crafting?
Not really. On it's own it's terrible and dormant get's around almost all tricks to cheat on it.
Best use is probably to mess up Spiteful Summoner but that is really narrow
No. You have to mill your opponent to get them to draw all three cards, but if their hand is full, the candle burns and doesn't count as being drawn. Unless you have a deck that routinely goes to fatigue without milling, this is an automatic D/E.
Also, it's been my experience that the candles are the last cards they'll draw. Statistically it shouldn't be so, but it is. I've played many games where opponent was down to last 5 cards before drawing the first candle.

So legit question, If you play darkness and pull a candle from thought steal and cast it what happens?
You add 1 to The Darkness's Candle counter, and draw a card.
