Printing a card that removes a weapon doesn't seem at all likely anytime soon, but the idea to equip a copy of your opponent's one seems really cool.
I hate this card with a passion.
Everybody says, "You can only use it once per turn!"
Yup, and the other 80-90% of the turns is boosting the card or doing something to ensure you can quickly redraw it once it wears out (such as using Valeera the Hollow to create a million Cavern Shinyfinders), so by mid game, the damn thing is up to 14A and you're dead in two seconds.
Since I have yet to encounter a Rogue not playing this, I'm going to auto-concede until they nerf it or come up with a counter other than Gnomeferatu.

Kingsbane is balanced. It starts at 1 attack and requires a lot of cards to make it work. Not to mention, you can only swing a weapon once per turn, so if you're playing Control you poop on Kingsbane Rogues very easily.

Eh, it's not as broken as people proclaim it to be. Everyone can agree that it should not be one mana due to it's ability to spiral out of hand quite quickly, but that being said, it's easy to counter with the right deck. And really, if you're playing a deck that doesn't counter this meta deck, you're not going to have a good chance against other matchups either. You need to rush your opponent down here just like you would a Warlock.
Sure, it needs a nerf, but only mana cost at the moment (perhaps 3 mana). The best way to nerf this would be to add a card that can steal a weapon or an advance ooze with a battlecry like "Silence and destroy your opponents weapon".

Why? Kingsbane isn't overpowered. It requires a lot of cards to make it work, and remember, it can only be swung once per turn.
I'm calling it right now....In the next set, we will see a neutral minion that sets a weapon's attack to 1. Then, we finally have a counter to Kingsbane Rogue (since Gnomeferatu can only help Warlocks against Rogues). I think this will be needed, especially after the nerfs and possibly with the next expansion.
It will probably be a niche minion (similar to Skulking Geist) so that it really only exists to keep Kingsbane Rogue in check. Would be awesome if it was another Geist or an Ooze-type minion.
Why do we need to add a card to the game that will destroy this deck against all classes just because Warlock struggles? Way to kill an entire deck. Not like we lost our only board clear Flurry of Blades, and got three of our core cards from aggro nerfed. No, we need to nerf rogue more, cause I don't like it when they win
How the fuck do you counter this??? I play ooze for armor by the attack but he keeps getting this weapon back. Nothing you can do. Have lots of taunts... gg
No need to counter it. It costs a lot to make Kingsbane work. Just harass your opponent since they can only swing once per turn.
it is a little sad that this class now depends only on this weapon and how lucky u can get to draw its buffs

i love rogue, but i play decks such as miracle, mill and oil without Kingsbane
Just wait until Kingsbane is the only card in the deck and then play your Gnomeferatu.
Have you played Kingsbane Mill or against one? Typically it ends looping KB as the only card in the deck: Play KB -> destroy it with Hero power -> it goes to deck to prevent exhausting damage. Just play Gnomeferatu () at the end, when Kingsbane is the only card.
Yes, it would be very tech card, but I might consider it if Mill Rogue becomes more common. Gnomeferatu is already used in 8.25% of Warlock decks in the past 30 days and it is nice card also against some combo decks with some luck.
If you find lottery with that easy odds to win, you should play it.
